Either way I'm tired of hearing all the political slamming & BS. Tired of hearing all the speeches from BOTH parties! I'm tired of hearing of all the BS from BOTH parties. Yes I vote, but GEEEEZ every time when elections roll around I am bout fed up with all the crap that flood our airways in regards to political slander! :mad: Come on Nov 4th!!

Anyone share in my thoughts....

:rolleyes: ugh tell me about it. And Elections at the fire house is due in Dec so if you can only imagine (it's just as bad!) The fake smiles & happy voices come out. You see faces around here you haven't seen in ages! Everyone is super nice & 2 faced then once the elections are over! WHAM people back to the way they are. I'm getting a double wammy here. Only safe place is my home! I barely watch TV @ home. NO TIME! LOL.

yea it's all pretty much crap. but I look for humor or how stupid do they think we are.
In our local elections for governor one of the candidates runs an add saying that 1300 registered sex offenders[child molesters] have disappeared. so the other one, the incumbent, runs this add which says- and I'll paraphrase- yea well as soon as we find out their missing we start looking for them. I find that quite humorous.

i too am a little tired of it all. that and the markets. i feel like the bad news about the markets just makes everyone else even more paranoid and makes it worse. if they would just report "the market jumped 800 points today" then it would be a great day.

off topic, but yeah. i'm sick of news in general right now. bring on the tampon commercials!

Notice how the sportsbra thread has over 1300 hits, I guess that's more interesting than politics! I for one am looking forward to getting this election over with. Let the best man win.

I'm gonna raise my hand here too and say I want it over with!

Everytime you turn the tv on, that's all you hear.

I've voted yesterday, and can't wait for next Tuesday to come and be done with.

I have to agree here. It doesn't matter what party your from. All the ads sound EXACTLY the same. I get SOO tired of all this stupid stuff. If I had to choose a candidate from ads alone I would be too depressed to even vote! Good thing I'm not depending on ads for my information. :(

Well, I have to agree, some of the adds are beginning sound like passing gas. It's over, for Diane and me anyway. We went and early voted today, so, I'm done. Still have to suffer through all of the propoganda though. I can't WAIT to see McCain sworn in!!!:):p

Just keep one thing in mind.......it's better than the alternative type of governments. I'm tired of all the BS ads and lies too...but I'll take it over all the other forms of govt out there...a small price to pay for our freedoms (what we have left, that is)

I agree with Steve that if the sportsbra had pictures we would be pushing 40DD hits, oh I mean 4000 hits.:p

I can not wait for this election to be over. If they could at least advertise fats, not slander and smut it would be better.

Hubby and I are changing our offical party registration to undeclared to help eliminate the mailings and phone calls.
