What exactly is a hot spot?

What causes hers is licking the area. Not sure why she does it(I think a flea got on her), she has a place on her foot that she goes to once in a great while. This one on her leg shes never done before. She just licks until it becomes an owie. I put 3 way stuff on it, unless its her foot, then I put a bandage on it too so she cant lick it.
She does it maybe once a yr, so I dont worry about it. Girls were in for their yrly, why the vet shaved it. She wasnt concerned.

Some dogs get hot spots from scratching due to fleas, allergies, ect.
I had a cockapoo that would get it on his back due to flea allergies. One flea and hes in the bath. Lady had a mild case on her back during the same time Shy did on her leg. Im sure it was due to fleas, just takes one for them to go nutso. I hate bugs and spray the yard, wash the dogs, treat them for fleas, but ya cant keep all of them away. Even though you treat them, a flea can still crawl on them, they dont die until they bite. Bugs irritate me. I hate seeing my babies irritated.

They are so cute and look very comfortable!! Lady always makes me look twice thinking she's my Noah, it's so hard not having him. Puppy is cute and I love her but she is so bad that she isn't alot of fun at times. I hope when she gets older she'll be a better girl. I miss my gentle and good Noah, he was so special and I could trust him with anyone, I can't trust puppy with anything. Give Lady extra extra hugs.

Tex is in my seat, so when I get ready to sit down, he scoots closer to Shyla. If I get my blanky, he will lay in my lap then Shyla will turn around and put her head in my lap. Lady is independent, she comes gets her loves, then back to the other side or the other couch.
