View Full Version : Bunzilla! beat up the kitty

My niece has a cat which stays in the bedroom. We decided to see if the cat and Bunzilla! might get along. Nope. We introduced them fairly far apart and Bunzilla! ran up to Tazz and smacked him right upside the head. He didn't get hurt and now he doesn't want anything to really do with going outside of the bedroom.
I think as far as Bunzilla! is concerned, no one is going to replace Rommie. :(
When Tazz tried to run into her cave, she ran after him and chased him out. I always knew she ran the apartment, but dang!

Lol. That's some rabbit!!! Poor Tazz!!! I have a cat that we call a samurai kitty because he attacked a golden retriever full on! Lol. Poor dog was terrified after that of my cat.
LOL - that rabbit is too funny. I used to have bunnies and I miss them (died of old age) but hubby says no to any more.

YIKES! Yeah, Bunzilla! doesn't do that - at least not when I'm home.
Be kinda funny to set up a webcam to see what she does during the day. Maybe I can catch her pulling socks out of the dirty laundry and hiding them. Not sure what it is about socks. I'll have to get a picture.

Oh that Bunzilla, he is funny! Roger loves cats but my kitties don't seem to enjoy him, they are like "What is that little black thing in the cage?" They're scared of him. When I let him out and he tears around the room they sit at the door and watch through the glass.
Roger says HI to Bunzilla!

That's so funny!!!! I'm sure Roger would enjoy the lessons, he'd probably just enjoy being with Bunzilla. Roger is having a little love affair with his big blue rolly polly ball!!!! It's quite the site seeing him with that ball! If little kids were around you'd have to block their eyes!
I have an African Grey Parrot and she LOVES Roger. When Roger is getting frisky with the ball Tyler will say "What Roger Doin?" It really is funny. She talks to him all day long. First thing she says in the a.m. is "Rogerrrrr" Sometimes she'll say "I love Roger"! It's really adorable how she fell in love with him, she learned his name the first night he got here and hasn't stopped talking to him since.

Wish I could have seen that! Around here, there are no wild rabbits, because the cats either get them, or the bunnies are smart enough to stay out of the yard!
Wish I could have both, but I guess it's not going to happen!

Poor kitty! With a name like Bunzilla, I'd expect to get pummeled, too! Those bunnies from Monty Python have got nothing on Bunzilla!
Blessings on Rommie. I am looking forward to meeting Rommie at the Rainbow Bridge. Weet. Weet

I LOVE Bunzilla stories!
Hey Chev... how long do Buns live? I have no idea how old Magic is since he was found in a park but I've had him three years now. Someone recently told me they "don't have a long life span" but I haven't had the heart to look it up online... I just love my little guy!

With good care they can live 7-10 years. Bunzilla! will be 7 on January 1st. And as the Queen of the household, she definitely is living good! ha ha!
They can live a long life, I got her spayed because it can increase their life span to fix them if they aren't breeding. Wow, it was expensive. Twice what I paid for Solon's first gelding.

Oh, Bunzilla is a girl? Ooohhh Ebony would love her....lol.....he's a neutered boy.
He is 8 years old, spoiled rotten, has his very own room with a large x-pen he stays in when I'm not home, toys, wooden house, rug to lay on.....what a life! When I'm at home he roams free and enjoys spending time underneath my bed or under my computer chair (if I am sitting on it), all stretched out lounging.
Doesn't it seem like the smaller pets vet visits are quite often more expensive than our horses' vet bills?!! It's insane.

7-10 years, that is great! I mean, I can't know for sure but I think Magic was young when we got him as he doubled in size the first year he lived here. I suppose he could have been underfed but I'm going to think positive and hope he's only about four. When he was at the vet for his abscessed tooth surgery the vet said it was hard to age rabbits... have you heard that? I'm thinking of looking for a new vet that specializes in Buns... they seem to be few and far between.

You definitely want a vet that specializes in buns. I'd start searching now before you need it. Vets without buns experience = bad news for the buns. They sometimes give them antibiotics that buns can't have, or don't understand buns health issues and misdiagnose things which can be really serious.
Yep Bunzilla! is a girl bunses. Here is a portrait done of her by a friend of mine. Captures her in all her glory.

Bunz is cute, Bunz is the boss. I like rabbits, they are too cute. Is it me or is Bunzilla like my girl Mira and needs a grazing muzzle?:)

Bunzilla! is big boned!! That's what she told me and if I disagree I won't wake up in the morning!!!!
She's had some weight issues ever since I got her spayed. Even with a regulated diet. I'm not sure what it really is. Had her checked and vet said some bunnies have the weight issues. Although it is hard to resist her when she comes up to me and pulls on my pant leg and runs to her food dish. Sigh.....

She does that?! Really? I had no idea bunnies were so full of personality. I want one now

Oh yeah! She does all sorts of little things. If I ignore her, she'll go into her litter box and start tossing her dish around then look over the edge to see if I'm looking. She'll bump my leg with her head when she wants to be petted. She'll box at me and growl if she's mad at something I did (not feed her fast enough, ignore her, put the socks back in the dirty laundry she keeps dragging out).
They have TONS of personality. It's just amazing. Especially when I'm sick. She will sit next to me and lick my hand and nuzzle my leg. When Rommie was sick before she passed away, she would let Rommie lay next to her and groom her.
Bunnies are just amazing.
