I know I kinda took a long hiatus from the forum. as you read first paragraph you will find my hiatus from here was unavoidable. then next few paragraphs just give you the run down on the horse mom life since I last posted.

The wind turbines less a mile from our house were finished at the end of the 3rd week of sept and all the remote testing with them that went on since they finished caused a few problems with the wireless internet and cell phones. (out in the middle of farm fields it's either wireless or satellite here.) What few times I was able to get online was only to get on and then have the service crash again..Now that the wind turbines are all finished being tested and running smoothly the wireless systems are back to normal. YEA!!!

So now alittle news about Cash since I wasn't able to update anyone with his ordeal over his rattle snake bite. He is doing good considering his knee is still swollen to grapefruit size since it happened 9 weeks ago. The infections are all cleared up, what is causing the continue swelling is trapped fluid under the tendons and muscle surrounding the knee. Vets say it could be another 6-8 weeks before his body absorbs the rest of the fluid. They have tried to drain it but to no use they only get 1-2 cc at a time. He is able to fully flex and move with out a limp all x-rays and sonogram look great. He still has problems with heat in the knee if he gets to active.. Which trying to keep a active two year calm has proven to be real fun.

Also since the last time I posted alot has happened a few of our horses.. Heaven decided she was going to starts blowing up again and refusing, down right cranky mare attitude (Still kick myself in the butt for naming her Heaven's Angel cuz Heavenly or a angel she isn't) ..So what did I do.. shipped her off to a trainer at 800 bucks for 30 days. did it do any good. yes. BUT>>>>> while she was gone we notice something.....Our nice little herd of 4 became a very content herd. no fighting, very relaxed. .It seem Rein, Gunner, Shadow and Cash were all very happy that the bee itch was gone, and I really didn't miss my baby as much as I thought I would. It was nice to go and exercise horses that don't test you every step of the way.with out having to dread that you still have the bee itch to go exercise. But none the less she did come home with a better attitude .Just not sure how long with will last before she goes moody again..

Before I did bring Heaven back home I was talking to my friend Vicki who my daughter Jessie rides for, she reminds me that She has Jessie showing Scoot to advertise him then, Says hey I have a great idea why don't you buy him, and sell Heaven.. She said she would come down 2 grand on his price if I would buy him...So I said let me think about it. Of course Vicki does the why don't you take him home with you see if he fits in with your herd and try him out yourself for while. What did I do...brought him home.fell in love with him, other horses get along great with him...call vicki and tell her she has a deal....My husband is going OMG you didn't.... we need 6 horses like I need I hole in my head cuz I know you will never sell your baby..

About a week later Rein decided to start having a little tude problem 24/7...Which shocked us because that is the sweetest little mustang you have ever seen.So I take her in to vet. While Doc and I are talking Rein is calling, pawing, dancing around Doc says more then likely last heat of the year and she is alittle hung up. so I'll give her a shot of something to help her come out of this heat. as he starts to walk off he says you really need have your girls riding her more often she is getting fat. I did the" hey" my girls ride her every day and no matter what they can't work the belly off of her...At that point His helper goes hey didn't you have her over at your english friend for a few weeks about 5 months ago.. he goes I remember the stud up the road from her you call fugly escape and spent the night at her place..I was like no body told me anything about that..Doc goes well I think we better palpitate.... Yeppers Rein is Preggers...... So I call my friend and she reminds me that they went out of town for their anniversary. What she didn't bother to tell me when they got back was, what their daughter who had been taking care of the horses while they were away had said about the escaping fugly when they got back

By Now my hubby is scream OMG!!!!! 7 horses .....We need 7 horses like I need a hole in my head... My answer to that was, one could be arranged...

So since my last post that is what has been happening around my neck of the woods and I'm glad to be able to be online again and see how everyone else is doing..

As for Heaven's Angel she is for sale? Yes... Am I trying really hard to sell her?......NOPE!! just don't tell me hubby that last part

Thanks for the nice big update! I'm glad all of your horses are doing good. I was thinking about starting a thread wondering where you were and how Cash was doing. :) I'm glad he is doing great, I hope we will be seeing you around the forum more often since your internet is fixed now. I can't wait to see the new baby when he?she is born.

ok I PROMISE that I will add pictures first thing tomorrow..since we didn't have internet I didn't really feel much like adding pictures to the computer. An I'm not sure where the girls put the camera cord, so since I have to ask them where it is I will have to wait till morning when I wake them up for school..

I don't have any of Heaven in training, she was 1 1/2 hours from me I didn't get up there but twice while she was there and both times I forgot the camera..I know, bad momma..I will get pictures of my fat little momma and Scoot. If I can figure out how to get the videos off my phone I have a few of Jessie taking Scoot over a couple of jumps.
