What a day!! We got up at 4 A.M. got loaded up and headed for the Stadium. The team had to be there by 7A.M. to check in and get schedules. Turned out we had 4 games to play. It was 45 degrees at the fields... brrrrr... :doh:

The boys came to play and won 3 out of the 4 games, but they didn't make the playoff's. :( They missed getting in by 3 lousy points. :mad: But they all had a good time and Nico was happy to FINALLY be able to play in this tournament.

We left our house at 6am and didn't get home till 7pm. It was a fun day!!

Oh man. How old is he? Im dreading mine getting that age when he starts noticing girls...yikes!

ugggg. I feel for you. Jack just turned 11. You are super close to the girl stage! Mine is still in super attitude phase right now. Pulling the plug on the xbox seems to be a great motivator for him right now LOL.

Sorry the boys didn't get into the playoffs, but Nico looked like he had a great time just being able to play.

Bummer they didn't make the playoffs, but it looks like Nico did great! Not only that, they had lots of fun, and that's what really counts!

Sounds like you all had fun and good job nico, Hopefully next year they make it to finals.

Gaited... OMG! It was hard to beleive that this is AZ. But it warmed up nicely in the afternoon.

JackieB..yep, we are really proud of him. He also tried out for his schools basketball team, and he was the only one that made the team (from his previous basketball team) We get a lot of coaches trying to recruit him for their teams... LOL But now we are letting Nico decide what he wants to do and he has choosen to stay with the school team. :) He's been playing sports since he was 4 yrs old.
