Thanksgiving Ride

sense we are stuck at home today i went for a trail ride. i have been working with Dusty to get her to listen a bosel. she has been really good when i ride her in her pen so today i decided to take her on the trail in it and she did GREAT!!! i was so proud of her. normally she loves to run on the trails and i have no problem with that but when asking her to slow down or stop she starts to be a brat and not want to listen to my seat or the bit. i can get her where her chin is touching her chest or my foot and she still keeps going for a bit than starts to slow down. other than that she is great on trails. so i was really worried when we started that ashe would pull that with the bosel and i would be stuck but she didn't, she was great and with a loose rain the whole time!!! walk, trot, AND canter!!! stop, slow down, turn and back up all great!!! i am soooo proud of her!!. and i found out that my cats like to go on trails too. two of my cats followed us the whole time. i got video of it but they came out really choppy and bad. but here are some pictures of Dusty saddled up and then me on Sterling

Very fun!! We've got a "white" horse like that!! There is a clean spot where we sit!!:) We got out as well cux we actually had SUN today.....!!

sounds like you guys had a good time. I would suggest loosening up the throat latch on the bay horse some, it appears to be really tight.

its on the last hole. its not really tight, she just has a fuzzy face. i have not been able to find a throat latch that fits her well. but thanks

A trail ride sounds like so much fun, you have some pretty horses there, and gorgeous scenery!
