:Dand hubby is not here so this is going to have to work. well i gave my first riding lesson in over a year today and it went GREAT!! i gave 2 lesson, a mother and her daughter both adults. they both did so good, this is the first time the mom has anyone really show her what to do with a horse and the daughter has back problems so we are going to work on building her back up. i am soooooo happy. when i got there they where both waiting in the front yard with the horse saddled up ready to go, and i was early! they have a really nice paint gelding that they are both going to be riding till daughters horse recovers from being ran through a fence, but till then, mom is working and asking for something and not pulling the horses head around. and daughter is just working on balance and leg position and her back, very little trotting so the gelding was fine with the work. but i am going to go back on Sunday and give them both a lesson again but i am going to have them wait till i get there before saddling, mom still need to learn all about grooming and saddling. but it was a great first lesson, very laid back and they both did really good and where happy with everything we did. i am going to be bouncing off the walls till Sunday:rant:! I LOVE GIVING LESSONS!! i did not realize till today how much i really missed it. but i have to go pick up hubby so i gotta go.
