I am SOOO mad

My boyfriend was downtown skateboarding today. When he came back he told me a little girl walked up to him and said that she heard I was pregnant!

Who's her source? MY 2ND COUSIN! My 2nd cousin is only 9-10 or so and she is telling everyone that she knows that I'm pregnant which I'm certainly not! The horrible thing is, they probably all believe her.

Apparently my cousin, Nora, also told her that I am her sister and that we have a brother named Zack. Uhh.. no! We are 2nd cousins and I have a brother named KYLE. Jake(my boyfriend) asked her if she had the right Morgan.. she said yes, because she points to us walking down the hall when she claims that I'm pregnant.

Now I hardly talk to her.. and when I do I am SO nice to her. I always say hi if she waves to me, I have never been mean to her in my life except maybe telling her to go away when she would demand that I play with her every 3 minutes. And that was years ago. I'm so puzzled as to why such a young girl would be making up that rumor.. It really hurts and moreso makes me extremely PEEVED OFF.

I will probably have a very serious talk with her tomorrow if I can keep calm! I have serious anger issues when it comes to things like these.. I'm shaking right now, LOL.

My guess is that she's craving attention. Some people just love to tell stories to get attention and it's sad she is saying things like that about you. Guess she doesn't realize how she can hurt your feelings and your reputation. When you calm down have a talk with her and hopefully she will stop spreading lies. I would maybe not go around telling people she's lying only because then they'll think she's telling the truth, sometimes just ignoring things is better as hard as it is.

When I was in high school one of my so called friends called me and told me she bought a horse. I was crushed since I always wanted a horse and she never showed any interest. She had all these stories every day about her horse, what they did, who she rode with, where she boarded it etc. One day she was out sick and I asked a mutual friend how this girl's horse was doing and he said "What horse, she doesn't have a horse". I was shocked. I guess because there was a group of us that liked horses she wanted to fit in so made up that whole story to get attention. I really don't know but I was the only one who she lied to I guess and she was a great rider, she even had pictures. I found out later that she lied to so many people about so many things including telling everyone that her sister tried to kill herself which was totally not true but then the school put her sister on suicide watch! It was all for attention so maybe your 2nd cousin has the same problems as that girl I knew. Make up any kind of stories good or bad to get attention.

Try not to choke her! In 9 months everyone will know she's lying when you don't show up with a baby hanging on the back of your saddle while you're running barrels with your new horsey!!!!!! I'm really sorry she did it to you, hopefully if you talk to her she'll stop.

Id take it home if she is family. She is seriously hurting your rep. One day it'll back fire and she will be the looser.

It is really strange, I have no idea why she'd spread a lie that could seriously kill my reputation in school. Our school is very very small (300 or so kids pre k-12th) and things spread fast so I'm hoping that it doesnt catch on in the high school end too quickly or I'm going to have a lot of explaining to do.

Annie you gave me the funniest visual, the barrel racing one, I even got a chuckle out of it. I'm sorry about the high school horse situation, those sort of people I just don't get! It's ridiculous. What I *really* don't get is I never talk to her anymore, just the occasional "Hi" when I walk past and she waves or stares at me. I imagine it could be for attention, especially since she claimed me to be her sister and went on with that. Ugg!

My talked to my Mom about it and she told me I dont need to talk to her tomorrow. My Mom just wrote my Grandma who will be sure to talk to Nora's parents and get her set straight-- I know Grandma wont let this go untouched. ;) Nora is a spoiled little girl, I don't think I can be so nice to her after this, blehh!
