What shows would people be surprised to know you watch?
I have two. And you'll probably laugh at the first:
Wonder Pets!
Saddle Club
Wonder Pets! is a little kids show about a duckling, a guinea piggie and a turtle that go all over the world in their magic flying boat to save other baby animals. "This is serious!" (I say that all the time at work - if you've seen the show, you'll know what that means!).
I also love Saddle Club. Reminds me of when I was a kid and riding with the same group of kids. The snotty, rich girl, and the rest of us that rode mutt horses and won all the ribbons and made the snotty girl's life hell. Good times.

I've watched The Saddle Club but I liked the older ones. Then the girls got to old and they replaced them and it just wasn't the same.
I watch Supernatural, Doctor Who, and Leverage. Not a big T.V. watcher, everything else is just background noise while I read or am on the computer.

Never watched either of them. Actually I never even heard of them.
I like Animal Planet, and I also like watching the "Amazin wedding cakes". :)

I'm probably the most non violent person in the world except if it comes to animal abuse then I could be very violent to the abuser. I always watch NCIS and Criminal Minds. On Criminal Minds I think Reid is so cute and that is SO WRONG. I can be his mother I'm so old, every time I look at him I can hear "And here's to you Mrs Robinson" playing in my head!!!! I actually can't watch the violence, I like the characters and like the way they figure things out but if it gets too violent I have to look away, a few times I've had to turn it off I couldn't take it but they are the things nobody can believe I watch. I also watch 2 1/2 Men.
The funniest is my mother, she is so prim and proper and her favorite show used to be Jerry Springer!!!! She never missed it, that was too funny. Now she's hooked on all the judge shows, they drive me mad, I can't stand them but when she comes we have to watch every judge show that's on and there are alot of them!

Spongebob. Invader Zim (though it never comes on anymore so I have to look for it online). I love CSI even though it's incredibly weird how 99% of the time they catch the criminal lol. And House MD.
I used to watch Saddle Club a lot. It's a cute show! I like Stevie's horse Comanche. I've always wanted to name a pet of mine Comanche.

I love Dexter, and Phineas and Ferb.
Dexter is about a serial killer who is a blood spatter annalist for the police who satisfies his dark urges by killing other serial killers.
Phineas and Ferb is a cartoon about two brothers who make wild and crazy inventions everyday and their sister keeps trying to bust them but they never get caught. Very funny.

The TV shows I watch probably wouldn't surprise anybody because they're fairly common. I love SuperNatural (I have a major crush on Dean:innocent:), Law and Order, and SCI New York. I also love Gilmore Girls.:p
Of course we don't actually have cable tv so we have them on DVD. If I had cable though I would probably watch the Saddle Club. I caught an episode of it once when I spent the night at my grandma's house and I watched the whole thing.:innocent: I liked it, it was a cute show!:p

OK I'm terrible besides on NCIS and two and 1/2 men I have no idea those shows even exist. I do have an excuse though - I didn't grew up here and until last year we had no TV whatsoever, not even local channels.

Okay everyone, some of those aren't really shows that someone would be shocked to know you watched!
I mean, if you knew what the Wonder Pets! were, you'd be questioning my sanity I think.

There is a bar in town that always plays Jerry Springer... only time I've watched was there, and it's funny when you're in a group at a bar with a bourbon in front of you :)
And everything I learned about law I learned from Judge Judy ;) I loved the original People's Court years ago with Judge Wapner. I watch most of them now when I see them on except the divorce one. Blech.
I don't know what would surprise people that I watch. Maybe that we're crazy about South Park and most everything else Matt and Trey have made. We also love old Seinfeld reruns, we're pretty into LOST, getting excited for the final season starting soon... we've watched 24 all along but it's gotten lame the last few years.
This is odd, maybe... I often wake up in the night and can't get back to sleep without the TV tuned to Forensic Files. It's on like all night on TruTV, formerly CourtTV. I do like criminal mystery type shows so that's what started it, but I find the narrator's voice really soothing, even when he's talking about blood spatter and murder.

I totally agree with the first part, same for me, and for the second I -ed. That song is stuck in my head now.
I watch Supernatural religiously. There are other ones I usually watch (Grey's Anatomy, don't laugh at me - 90210, How I Met Your Mother), but Supernatural is a must. Actually the one thing I watch every night (or pvr it for later) is Craig Ferguson...hilarious/not at all hard to look at :innocent:

Every single night. Sometimes whatever is going on upsets Piggypants and she will start wheeting like crazy so I reach for the remote and turn it off. If I remember right before I get to sleep I'll put the sleep timer on for 2 hours. And if there is something like World's Most Shocking or Most Daring on instead of Forensic Files then I head over to the Discovery ID channel and they have non stop Forensic shows with the same soothing man voice.

So do I, that Repo squad are nothing but a bunch of pukes. So yeah, definitely check out Discovery ID. They have New Detectives, Extreme Forensics, FBI Files, Wicked Attraction, The Most Evil and a bunch of other good stuff.

OMG sorry but I really had to laugh. I have never heard of it...my husband thought I've lost a screw while I was watching the video. :hysterical:
I know my shows are pretty predictable, but those are the only 2 shows I watch.
As for a weirds stuff, I watch my tarantulas with a flash light before I go to sleep... got about 40 of them, keep them on my nighstand....does that count? :)

I love the Wonder Pets! I'd get a t-shirt if they had one. And wear it to work.
Piggypants like it too. She'll wheet-wheet along with the theme song and when they are rescuing the animals. It's too funny.

Cheval my son likes that show. .and their music gets into your brain. Do you say "This is seriousss" with a lisp? Or with the beat of the song? Lol. Funny!!
I don't have any off the wall favorites. . . but I'm embarrassed to admit I watch The Bachelor and the Bachelorette. . .
Other than that we pretty much watch Food Network at night. We love Guy Fieri and Bobby Flay. Like big time love. lol.

I'm going to have to say that definately counts!:p ;) Today I was sitting at the computer (which in in our basement) and my dad walks in and goes to put his wallet on his desk (which is also down in the basement, our house is amazingly tiny so our basement get a lot of use) and freezes. His eyes bugged out and he's staring at the wall. "That is the biggest freaking spider I ever saw. It's got to go."
I immediately freak out, push away from the computer desk on my wheely chair, and look at the wall from a safe distance away. When I see the humungous spider he is looking at a few colorful words came out of my mouth that I won't repeat here, and I made a break for the stairs: "I'm going to evacuate the area now, but you do that, Dad! I'll wait up here where it's safe."
As Dad runs around the basement trying to find a suitable weapon to arm himself with, I hover at the top of the stairs cringing.
"Did you get him?"
"No."
"You're kidding, right?"
"No. But I think I wounded him. He was amazingly fast."
And it went on like that for a while. I stayed upstairs for a long time and now is actually the first time I've been back on the computer all night and I still have chills.
As you probably figured out, my dad and I have a severe fear of spiders.:innocent: Everynow and then a picture of one of your trarantuals pops up at the top of the forum page and I just about have a heart attack every time.:innocent::p Nothing against your spiders, I'm just a big baby.:o I can't do snakes either. I just freak out. The only time you'll hear me scream like a girl is when a snake or spider surprises me. My mom is the same way about snakes. I once saw her jump straight up into the air and leap over a snake, screaming all the way. It was hilarious, but then I probably wouldn't have reacted much differently.:innocent:

Lol, Lizzy you made me laugh! That was really funny. That would made a great funny video. :D
Don't feel bad, most people react that way. My mother doesn't just scream, she starts crying too if a spider surprises her. I'm lucky my husband doesn't react that way. He is not too pleased if he is falling asleep and I make him open his eyes again and look at one of them..."his usual response: "it's a damn spider leave me alone...go to sleep" I do this to him pretty often and than he complains to everyone he knows. :D
Cheval sorry I didn't mean to hijack your thread.
...back to the shows... My husband is watching Burn Notice right now...not paying attention to it but, I think it's weird one "if you're a spyyyyy..."

I used to watch the Saddle Club a lot when I was younger, but the books were way better and the TV show disgraced them. In the books the girls knew way more about horses, they could all ride well and not everything ended happily.. The new series is terrible and I think they made a mistake with getting all the cast members on all the seasons to sing and release songs. Uuuugh.
There's a Samson, if any of you guys have noticed, in the series. He's born from the Palomino mare Delilah and the black Thoroughbred Cobalt. In the books Samson was a coal black foal that grew up to be a really talented showjumper, there are two books dedicated to Samson.. Thats where I got the name haha.. (I did name Samson 3 yrs ago, but I'd read the books about 5yrs ago). My favourite Saddle Club Horse..
ANYWAY.
Favourite guilty pleasure shows.. Hhhhm.
Hannah Montana, Jonas, Jeremy Kyle, iCarly. I watch a lot of the stuff on Nickelodeon(sp?) and find it funnyyy!

I'm a fan of Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International, cold cases, Cops, History Channel. I also like some of the older SyFy of The Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock.
Not to mention my good old HLN;)

The O.C. :)
It's cheesy deep fried drama on a stick! I can't resist! Even when I went through my super gothy phase, I would go home and watch The O.C. in my black eyeshadow in tripp pants. ;) Shhhh, none of my "real life" friends can know!

iCarly, Degrassi, and The Tool Academy on vh1. :innocent: Most people don't know I watch any of those shows.
LOST, Pokemon and The Saddle Club (the old ones that I have on DVD). ^.^ Mine are pretty bad. I very rarely watch TV though.
While LOST isn't really a guilty pleasure...it might be considered one from me, because I get LOST magazines, all the DVDs, I theorize the whole dern thing, etc. =] I'm very religious to my LOST. I dunno what I'm going to do when it ends!!! UGH!

I forgot I also watch those whacko Lifetime Movies, that's what I've been doing today since nothing else is on and it's snowing out. There is one with Jennifer Aniston and they keep playing the music from The Graduate in it so now I really have "And Here's to you Mrs Robinson" in my head.
