Well, last nite was going pretty well, I finished the prep without any troubles and I headed off to bed about 9:15, I was really wiped out. I woke up about 2:30 in the morning tho, had to make another bathroom run, the prep was still doing it's job...... but his time I got very weak, sweaty and had the chills and felt dizzy and faint. I just kept on feeling worse, so I managed to start walking back to my bedroom, I stumbled a few times and it was just a nightmare..... I think I made it about as far as a foot from my bed and that is all I remember.....I collapsed!!:( Next ting I knew I was waking up, flat on my back, between my bed and my closet..... I didn't hurt my head tho, but I was so weak all I could do was lay there for quite a while (thank God for nice soft carpeting, but I landed in the bowl of dog food....lol....sheesh...). I managed to get myself up and I crawled up into the bed and stayed there, felt a teeny bit better. My dog Bentley was so scared, I must have really freaked him out when I passed out like that, he was shaking so bad and so scared, so I made him cuddle up with me and he settled down, and made me feel better too. Bailey my other dog slept thru most of it....lol. And my rabbit was snoozing under the bed.... So..... I made it, but it was a rough one. Not sure why I keeled over, the doctor today was very concerned about that. But, we got the colonoscopy done, no troubles or problems there..... and now we're just waiting to get the results of the biospies back, probably on Friday.
And now I am relaxing and eating! ;)

Yikes! That had to have been scary! Hopefully, you'll find the answers you need out of all this. At least now you've gotten it done!
Happy munching! Btw, what are you eating, anyway? Anything good?:D

M'mmm....FOOD finally! Well, they told me to not fire up the stove or oven today, good idea....in case I tip over again....lol. So I ate some Special K cereal, crackers and cheese, and an ice cream sandwich to boost my sugar intake. And some Gatorade to wash it down with.... I'll just eat crackers and veggies and fruit and things like that.
But that was the craziest thing....I've never passed out before..... the doctor was real upset about it and worried about it. I sort of figure it was from too mnay bathroom runs and dehydration and electrolyte imbalance....but, hard to say. My BP before they did the procedure today was 200 over 80.....came down to 175 over 80 later on.....

Uneducated guess would be a combo of the two, lol!
Ice cream sandwich sounds good!

Yeah, plus I had been having some major health issues the week before..... it all just added fuel to the fire.
But, at least it's over now, and I didn't bang my had on anything.....LOL. ;)

Oh my, Im guessing it was from dehydration and lack of food sugars.
Im glad you are feeling better. Hope you get that hot meal in quickly.
Make a PB sandwich, that helps with protein.

Glad it's over, so sorry about you keeling over especially in the dog dish. If figures though, your luck has been running about like mine lately, if it wasn't for bad luck there'd be no luck. I hope all turns out well and you get your strength back. Hugs to the puppies, if I fainted mine would probably rip the house apart and wouldn't care much if I did. Noah would be upset but Puppy is clueless. Take care of yourself. Do you have a friend who can come stay with you for a day or two in case it happens again? I hope it won't though.

Thanks everyone! I have a friend who lives two blocks away from me..... she called me to see how I was doing....so she will check on me.
Silly me.....last nite after I found out I had fallen into the dog's food dish all I thought was, "well geez if I had laid here for a long time the poor dogs wouldn't have been able to get to their food!". LOL. I'm always worrying about the critters.... ;)
I'm eating little bits here and there today..... I do feel better....just weak yet.... but I think I will do OK.

Sorry I am just now catching your threads. I am glad you got through this, but very sorry you passed out like that; how scary. I am glad you are doing better and finally having food again. Take it slow and have an uneventful recovery.

Thanks everyone. So far so good tonite. A couple friends called to check on me, I'm just relaxing and taking it easy. I called my regular doctor and he wants to see me, so I go in to see him Friday, he's concerned about the passing out episode and my other symptoms.
I was looking at the paperwork I got from the GI doc today, I have diverticulosis, and possibly microscopic colitis, but we won't know for certain until the biopsies come back.
So, tonite I am just watching TV in bed.....and popping online now and then (I have the computer right next to my bed).

I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself when you fell Renee. My guess is with your weakened body that the drop in fluids etc. made your BP drop and caused this to happen to you. I sure hope they can figure out once and for all what's up with your body and can help you.
