Best mystery dramas on TV?

Does anyone here watch mystery dramas on TV? I used to be into CSI but now I'd rather watch Criminal Minds.

I know there are others like NCIS, Law and Order. Share your favourites. :)

Law and Order SVU has always been my favorite.

I like NCIS [I have a rerun on as I type this] and Criminal Minds. There isn't much on TV these days, I've been renting episodes of one of my favorite shows from NetFlix, that's not a crime drama though it's McLeod's Daughters, an Australian show about a bunch of girls running a ranch. The first 3 seasons were the best but it's still better than most of the stuff we have a choice to watch. I'm into the 7th season now, it ends at the 8th I guess. It is getting maddening since only one original cast member is left but I will watch 'til the end.

I like the mystery dramas on PBS, one of them is Murdoch Mysteries, I think it originated in Canada.
Another is Agatha Christie's Poirot, and Masterpiece Theatre Mystery, also on PBS.

I forgot I also like The Closer & Saving Grace. They have real short seasons though, like 6 shows and that's it for a few months. Saving Grace isn't for everyone but I really like it.

I love NCIS (not the new spinoff though, it's too CSI-y) and Criminal Minds. Yesterday, we watched NCIS all day... today it's been Criminal Minds.

If House counts as a mystery drama, then add it to my list! :D

Love Law and Order SVU, that's the one that got me started on these type of shows. Now I also like NCIS and Bones. Those are dangerous marathons!

Do you have to watch the show from the beginning of the series, or can you sort of jump in? CSI didn't need to be watched all the time I know. It seems as if Criminal Minds is headed away from that direction.

I know him!! Well, actually I know his sister. I'm hoping that someday I'll get to meet him, but his sister is a really close friend of our family. I'm so sad that the series is over though! That show was so funny. My aunt and I would rent the seasons and watch them all the time.

I love to watch NCIS. Love the chemistry on the show. And Criminal Minds... well it just scares me. I work at night and mostly alone. The shows seems to be able to place some horrid ideas in lonely individuals... so I have watched it.. but it does scare me. Darn, feel a bit foolish admitting that, but it's true.

Bones for sure!!! I wish they would just get it on already though. I like Criminal Minds ALOT and CSI (the original, even though it is so different now) and NCIS. SVU is a fave too.

Well let's see, The Closer, NCIS (the original, can't decide on the new one) Criminal Minds, CSI NY because I love Gary Sinise. Fringe, Burn Notice (I love the cast), the Mentalist, Medium and Numbers. And 24, which I just started watching last year. We usually record them and watch when the weather is bad.

There is a new one coming on that I want to check out. Can't remember the name...

Oh, and of course Bones.

I completely forgot about Medium. :p Ghost Whisperer is almost the same, except it's more of a soap opera and there's no gore.

Criminal Minds usually leaves me on the edge of my seat. I love the twists!

NCIS is my favorite right now, and this season is shaping up to be one of the best. I really dig The Mentalist, too. NCIS is funny, and I love the team interaction, and it's kind of the same with The Mentalist, which isn't too surprising since Lisbon is just Gibbs in a pants-suit. The first season it was right after NCIS, and I swear when I watched the Pilot, I immediately thought, "they've copied Gibbs!"
