I might be going to Texas!

My buddy takes business/pleasure trips to Texas frequently. I've gone with a few times before. Details are not set whether I'm going or not but I think he's leaving sometime Wed. and returning Mon. We always drive straight through(about 17 hours or so).

His 16 year old daughter will be going also. We'll be staying at a friend's cabin which I think is close to Giddings but will be going to Smithville too where they own a large ranch! I think he mentioned a meeting in Houston which I wouldn't have to go with but if someone was around and wanted to meet up I probably could.

I'll be getting more details tomorrow if anyone is interested. I'm not sure where most of you are but I know some are near or in Houston. Lunch or a quick meet for a coffee/soda might be possible.

Now I have to get someone here to do my chores while I'm gone.

That's awesome!! Doesn't sound like you'll be in my neck of the woods but have a great trip!!! Giddings and Smithville are in a fun area!! It'll be back in the 50s by then! If you're in Fort Worth at all the big Stock Show parade is on Saturday! It's an all hoof parade. Nothing powered by anything but animal power!!! Good times!

Giddings is about 1.5 hours from me. Brenham is in the middle. If y'all want lunch in Brenham let me know, I have a light schedule this week.
