Winter wonderland - Kentucky style

Sorry I haven't been around much the last few days - lots of time at work right now - even yesterday after already working a +50 hour work week. BLEH.

However, I wanted to share some pics of our recent snow. I think this is the most snow that has stuck around the longest since I've been here. Usually we get some in the morning and its gone that afternoon, or even the next day. This has been around for a couple days and has been sorta nice.

The grey is Apache. We've had him since he was a baby - and he is turning 5 this spring. He was the nursemare orphan foal we adopted and almost lost to foal pnemonia. Had to feed him milk out of a bucket. He has become my husband's horse and has been a great mount for him.

Here he is as a baby...quite the difference, isn't it?

Tody's got such a funny little blaze the way it has a big chunk taken out of it. Just goes to show you how individual each Haffie's blaze is. Mitch has a little finger of white that sticks up off his.
