Introduced Ranger to the herd (9 pics)

So we've had Ranger for 4 days now, and we let him out a few days ago into his own little pasture where he could see the other horses. After we let him out into that pasture we didn't hear him cough a single time, so we are pretty sure it might've been the dust in the barn that was causing him to do that. I figured it was safe to let him in with the other horses. The vet is still coming Monday to check out his eye, teeth, etc.

There sure was a lot going on with them. Tyke and Ranger keep trying to establish who is boss, and Melee is coming out of his shell and trying to get on the action. Everything is calm now though and they're fine.. all grazing together. I'll keep checking on them.

My camera battery died right before April and Prodigy took off towards the others. I was so mad!

And I have to say Melee can haul butt! I think he's faster than Tyke.. and Tyke is fast.

(please excuse my horses! I brushed them earlier this morning but they all look so shaggy and dirty because of their winter coats.)

What kind of camera do you have and is it a "point and shoot" or a real spiffy one? :) Your herd is amazing and I can't believe how BIG Prod is since I last saw pictures!!! :eek: He's so cute.

I love the pictures Morgan. Geez Melee is a fast one...barrel racing should be fun. Your little herd is quite big now and Prodigy is sure getting to be a stocky boy!
