SO I just had to share. My friend at the barn uploaded some of her pictures and sent this one to me. I love this picture my girl Trouble looks absolutly adorable. If I edit it don't you think its frame worthy?

Beautiful photo. Any photo that you want to frame is definitely worthing of framing. From a photographer's perspective though, since you asked, I'd take a different one. But I'm just suggesting. By all means frame it if you like the photo.

The two things that I think could be a bit stronger in the photo are the background and lighting. The motorhome and house detract from Trouble's beauty, and she's backlit instead of having the light highlight what the camera is focused on. But again, these are just thoughts. I don't want to discourage you at all.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Jackie B and I know what you mean I wish Allan didn't have his moterhome in the back...and the lighting. I am pretty good at photoshoping these so the lighting could be fixed...but the background not some much. She is such a pretty girl but she is so hard to take pictures of, she'll move or I swear whenever the camera comes out decides to be difficult.

Surely someone on the forum (Equine Woman, Cloedoll, FatSpottedAppy, etc.) could help you tweak it and maybe put a new background in if you wanted?

Well, I hope I didn't discourage you. I was just offering a couple of suggestions from my years of taking photos. It's a beautiful shot.

Cloedoll could probably pluck Trouble out of there and put her on the summit of Mount Everest, complete with climbing boots, pick axe, and oxygen tank.

No no I really appreicate your suggestions, I always do. I put the shot on here for people to tell me what they think. I may just frame it as I don't have many pictures of Trouble actually printed out. The only thing I am worried about doing a complete photoshop overhall is it may look unnatural. Maybe some day when I have time I'll have a photo day and take her out to the field, since in her pasture there is a school behind her, houses next door, busy road in front, and a football field on the other side.

Well, not if you get the right type of mountain climbing gear, it won't look unnatural. If you put her on top of Everest with gear that everyone knows is only used in South America or something, that might be a problem. But if you stick to Himalayan climbing gear, it will be fine. :p:p:p Just goofin'.

I definitely think with some photoshopping you can fix that stuff. I have a fill flash action I use a lot and you could do a mask and a blur and get rid of that motor home I think.
