Well sort of.... It's been raining so much here my horses are in water 24hrs a day right now. :(

This is our arena as I am driving up to the property

This is obviously by my horse trailer. I usually park it by those bushes, but decided before the storms to keep it closer to the arena... good thing or I would not be able to move that thing for weeks!

Another angle of the arena... I guess I won't be practicing any time soon. :(

Here is poor Missy wading through the water to come see me

Dallas standing in what little dry spot he can find. "Hey mom, can you please do something about this water."

And here are my fields that we hold our games at..... yet I still have people calling me to ask if we are going to play the games tomorrow... ugh!!!!

At least the water fowl are enjoying the flooded fields

This is what the fields are supposed to look like

WOW!! What a mess...At least the horses didn't go out and act like normal paints and cover every stitch of white in mud! Hope everything gets a break from the rain soon and dries out for you! Sheesh!

I think they are afraid to lay down for fear they may not be able to get back up.

Yeah that is a mess. I know what you mean I can't train Dee right now because of my round pen being so messy. I was going to train her tomorrow but more storms are supposed to move in tomorrow afternoon and continue until Sunday morning I think. I also wish that it would quit raining so that I could train again.

Wow, I think your arena might be a wee bit wet:p

Sorry I couldn't help it.:innocent: As for the dummies (coach x) thinking that there will be a game tomorrow, umm I think they can start with out ya. Tell him when it dries up (and him) and goes away, then you will have a game:)

Wow that sucks. I guess you're lucky you don't live here in Oregon, because that's what we have to put up with ALL THE TIME!!! I hope it'll start drying out soon for you.

Wow, your ring looks more like a swimming pool. I had seen on the Weather channel, how bad the weather was out west. Some parts of Arizona were getting heavy snow. Hopw you dry up soon.

PS Please don;t send any our way. We have had enough too

Yikes... At least it had stopped raining for the pictures!

Don't worry, in another month you'll be in a drought again. This is just a temporary adventure in wetness :D

Oh my gosh, your poor desertbred horses don't know what to do with mud! Come on, ponies, have a roll. Staying clean with all the slop just isn't kosher.

CG, you'll be amazed at how fast the puddles disappear as soon as the sun comes out. I wonder what kinds of plant life and desert flowers will be brought on by all the rain? It's going to be pretty there in a few weeks!

Wow, your arena is almost a swimming pool!

I'm a little scared to go out to the barn tomorrow, I've been sick all week so that along with the weather means I haven't been out there to see how bad it is.

I was at the stable Wednesday and Dixie's stall was a muddy pool. Chips stall wasn't that bad. The arena was quite damp and I didn't want to turn them out in that so I choice to put them in the round pen together which worked out quite well for them. They got to roll, play and be horses LOL.
Chip was very protective. He didn't and Wouldn't let Dixie too close to me. Chip was all over me that day. It was like he knew something was going on. Poor Dixie, she's such a good girl, she just wanted to a few pats and left alone to roll;)

That is a lot of rain. We got drizzle and cold which equals ice. Not too good here.

Us too! Except alota ice and a dusting of powdered sugar:hysterical:(snow). I'm sorry I hope it dries up soon!! Since you live in AZ do you not have to buy footing since it's all pretty much sand???

No it's mostly dirt that is not used to so much rain, so it is REALLY muddy and slick. :( We also don't have sand in the arena, so if / when that dries up it will be rock hard. Then we have to take the tractor to it to break up the concrete dirt, then we can use the regular drag. Seeing the arena that bad it will be more than a month before we can use it again. :(

Looks like I am going to have to haul out to one of the public arena's if I want to do any praticing or training. That sucks!
