This is what I found......

She had been riding Ladybird and I was tending to Dallas and Dreamer. It got quiet n the arena so I went to see what she was doing and here they were....

Before it had gotten dark, they were just walking and trotting. Cheyenne likes to ride bareback when she is not practicing on barrels and poles..

Just thought I'd share some pics. Ladybird and Cheyenne are such a team!

Oh gosh your titled scared me!! I'm glad it was she is having fun!

LOL...sorry about that. My heart skipped a beat when it got so quiet. I swear she was getting ready to fall asleep, and Ladybird was just standing there quietly like she was going to take a nap.

I've almost done that a few times- fallen asleep while laying on or riding Dakota. I'm not sure why.. maybe because it's so peaceful or just a matter of trust. I've gotten so comfortable with riding him bareback that the motion of his walk can make me feel sleepy and safe enough to take a nap (I've never actually fallen alseep, but have come close). And whenever I see him laying down I always go over and lay with him.

Oh ...now that is the sweetest thing. I also got scared there when I read the title. I agree with Equine_Woman...Every horse should be loved by a little girl once in their life!!!

Yep, I am so glad I decided to get back into horses even though we don't have property right now. Cheyenne made the comment to me the other day.... "You know mom...I made a wish a long time ago for a horse and now I have one!"

Do you all remember when the kids first got Ladybird....?
