I'm addicted (the result) + My new very cool job + marriage?

I got the coolest part time job. I am going to be working at a school strictly for children with behavioral issues. I will be teaching them yoga and horse back riding!

I work 5 days a week, I also assist the teacher in the class room. My hours match Alexs school hours so I will always be around and I have all weekends off. And paid gov. holidays off. On top of that I am the school owners new riding instructor for her grand daughter and will be helping them purchase therapy horses and with training etc.

Remember how I fell in love with jeeps? Look at my present from Bobby! He got it for me for our pending egagement (I chose the jeep over a ring lol for now.. the ring is coming I designed it)

Bobby is putting a 3 inch lift on it, front locker and 31 inch tires. So its versatile enough to rock crawl and do groceries.

Yes.. we are actively talking about it. His mom already has everything planned out lol

We want to buy our house first. We're looking at a few little farms in the area. Then we're going to get married and move in after we're married.

I finally found the man of my dreams.. and the only thing wrong with him is.. well... nothing lol

The job is going really well and despite the fact I get treated pretty negatively by some of the older kids.. they're starting to accept that I am a fixture and it feels good to be someone positive in their otherwise negative lives..

Wow Linds - GREAT news! The job sounds WONDERFUL - you get to work with horses, help kids AND get good hours and benefits... PERFECT!

I am also very excited about your love life... but I'd be lying if I said it didn't scare me just a wee bit when things happen so fast. Howver, I had a boss that's been married twenty years and they got engaged after one week... sometimes you just know and I hope this is "happily ever after" for you!:)

It hasn't gone all THAT fast.. and we don't even live together yet.

I'm taking the high road this time. I wont live with him til we're married, etc..

And his family, who adore me, are adimate that marriage is FOREVER and so we'll do all the premarital counseling etc most likely. Make plans for finances etc. Won't be a church based thing by personal preference. But doesn't mean we can't do things right.

wow.. conratulations!! Its great that you get to work with children who need you. I know for a fact that being with animals especially horses works wonders for those types of kids. My William as made great progress working with Brutus and I have to say that without Brutus I do not know where we would have ended up. You are in a position to forever change their lives. You will never be forgotten and their families will be forever grateful. Horses bring families together.
