Hmmm...I would love to hear the whole peice, not just small segements that are faded in and out which lends to a feel of manipulation of what was being discussed. Just my thought on it.

However, I think the point was we should go towards cleaner energy sources - which I agree with 100%.

The SF Chronicle (the most left-wing liberal commie bird-cage liner on the planet) is tap dancing as fast as they can right now. Claiming they put the story on their web-site! How about the stinking front page????????? :puke:

When gas cost over 4 bucks a gallon, Obama opined that the problem was that the price had gone up "too fast". Radical environmentalists want gas as expensive as possible, to force people out of their cars, which would reduce the effects of nasty old fossil fuels. If the economy is wrecked, not a problem. As Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the House, says "I'm trying to save the planet!"
Coal plants produce approximately 50% of our country's electricity. It's already nearly financially impossible to build a new coal powered plant due to environmental regulations and environmental driven costs, but Obama wants to be even more punishing. He wants the government to finish off the coal industry.
Stop and figure out how much more you can pay for electricity, because Obama says that electricity costs will "necessarily skyrocket".
Keeping the environment healthy is vitally important, but that goal must be balanced with keeping our economy from being crushed in the process. Please people, think of the consequences before you go to the polls.
