Hey everyone :)
So this is the first year I've had a boyfriend at valentines day :p They've always ended or begun just before/after before xD So I was just wondering what everyone's plans are for it? :) I'm still struggling over what to get him, cause it was his birthday less than a month ago so I'm all idea-d out Dx Hopefully I'll think of something, I fear I may have to visit a chocolate shop xDD Or make him something myself :) Who knows.. :p

Anyway, single or taken, I hope everybody has a great valentines day! :)

Ehhh... I don't really care about Valentine's day. Guess it's more of a holiday for dating couples. I'll be barrel racing and think DH is going rabbit hunting! I even threatened him that if he bought me something stupid like a bear or flowers I'd hurt him. We're on a strict budget and stuff like that is a waste of money to me!

But good luck to others in their quest for the perfect valentines day!

I think valentines day is kind of silly, but its a sweet idea of a day. I think Brian and I are going out for dinner and doing little gifts or something. lol. Small help that is. Sorry. lol.

We are going on a picnic that day and a walk on the hiking trails (weather permitting) at a nearby state park. The restaurants are always too busy on Valentines Day.

I told my boyfriend that if he wants to do anything he can plan it. We have been dating around 3 years and I have planned pretty much all birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, so he can do it this time! I told him I wont be upset if we just hang out at home together, but dont expect me to plan anything, his turn this time

Well seeing as I wont see my boyfriend prolly till may or so were not doing anything. I am writing hima long letter and a song and emailing them to him. When he comes home I am giving him a ring lol

I don't have a boyfriend, but neither do most of my other friends, so we are planning a girl's night to the movie theater to see Dear John! Can't wait! :D

Oh luck missy!! I want to see that movie so badly. I'm single too, which kind of sucks, but oh well. Hopefully in the next year or two that won't be the case anymore :]

I'm single, and have been single since uhhhh birth and probably will be 'til death. lol :p I'm not doing anything special either. I think Valentines is as commericalized as the rest of the holidays and I think it's nicer to do something "special" for the one you love, on a random day in the year, not a specific day. That's me though sorry I'm not any help!

After 28 years, it's a little tough to find something "NEW" We will go for a ride in the sunshine and then I will cook dinna. There is a Valentines dance locally, so maybe if the band is good we will go to that!!;)

Boyfriend's coming up here for the weekend. We're going to explore a new trail I found, and work on my perpetual fence project. Probably have a nice dinner in town somewhere.

I never 'did' the Valentine's day thing, or any of that romantic c**p, but I really enjoy the time I spend with my boyfriend, vice-versa, I just hope that 10 or 20 years from now we both feel the same way.

I spent most of my life being single, never went out hunting for men or felt like I had to be part of a couple to be whole or normal. When I met Harris I just had a feeling that this was better than ice cream, and as we get to know eachother more it keeps getting better.

Mel and I will probably saddle up and take a ride around the farm together. Him on Sky and me on Cutter. If not the boys and I are going to ride Cutter weather permitting. Mostly it will be a day spent with the boys and relaxing I hope.

Valentine's Day is okay, but I hate how it's so commercialized and the media portrays women as being so fanatic about it and that if a guy forgets or doesn't get his girlfriend tons of stuff, he's a bad boyfriend/husband.

I'll spend V-Day morning at church, come home and just lay around listening to love songs and eating whatever sugary stuff is in the house. :) Like normal.

Got the BF a Digital Camera! I hope he likes it.
My Birthday is tomorrow & he already gave me my girft.... I'll have to post pictures. (My Vday Present was in there as well)! Then on the day before Vday (when were celebrating it), he's coming with me to my awards banquet! Should be good times :)

I got my reptile loving boyfriend a leopard gecko for Valentine's Day. He already has her and named her Aphrodite and I have no idea how I am going to top that next year. This is my first Valentine's Day with a boyfriend (my last boyfriend we started going out about 2 days after Valentine's). I'm pretty excited. My birthday is the 13th so he will be over for that and then Sunday we will probably have a movie night.

He bought me the stupidest teddy bear last year. And what's worse it was scented and it smelled like chocolate! I can't stand food scented things! I guess it would be a little different if he had put some thought into it, but I don't think he's capable. So to avoid that disaster again, I just told him not to get me anything!
And it's really a matter of money this year. If I want to go to the barrel race this weekend I can't have him spending my $50 entry fees on a stupid bear or flowers that die! So basically my V'day present is Barrel Racing! I wish he would come at watch at least! That would be a nice present... prove to the people in my district that my husband does exist!

My husband and I don't exchange gifts for any occasion. I like it that way, partly because I'm too practical(cheap) to buy him anything fun, and I don't like hanging on to things I don't like just because they were gifts. It works for us. No pressure, just a Valentine's Day I love you, and I'm good.

CG, tell your husband it's supposed to be a nice little moment in time, not something you have to believe in. I think he means "I don't know what to get you". How about pushing your hair away from your cheek, and giving you a little, no strings attached, smooch there? Men can be so dense.

Your bear, AU? Super groan.....you're a grownup afterall. What are supposed to do with it, set it up on the pillows like a 5th grader? That would be creepy, actually.

Yeah it's in a box in the closet from when we moved. He won't let me get rid of it. I'm waiting until they have the university teddy bear drive for the police to give to children in domestic dispute type events. Figured he'd let me donate it to a good cause. I do have a few stuffed animals on the guest bed. But they were gifts, and they were bears that resemble my dogs. So that's a little different than some chocolate scented bear.

Today was the first valentines I've been taken. I've always landed single before :p Last night I was really worrying about it.. but today was just lovely :) He's a real romantic xD Which naturally I love cause I'm one of those romantic comedy chick flick girls xD It was like living in a movie for the day :) He played to me (he can play every type of guitar under the sun, and he plays it well!:p) He had got me presents.. a really cute picture book about the love story of dinosaurs because I told him RAWR meant I love you in dinosaur :) Then there was this little box wrapped... it was a jewelery box! He'd bought me this beautiful heart necklace. I love it. I was so close to tears! :) Most perfect day ever. <3
