Riding in the Blizzard of 2010

After over 2 feet of snow in most areas & major drifting I was able to dig out & get to the barn. This was a good thing because we spend another 8 hours this day getting ready for the next round of snow that was coming that would make the already 2 feet deeper. After all the work was done me & one of the young ladies at the barn decide to test drive the horses through the deep snow. Her horse "Hucklebuck" loved the deep deep snow, Legend NOT so much. She didn't mind the couple inch snow but the drifts she wanted nothing to do with them. LOL. See photos below.

I have a bunch more but the uploader is not working properly for me today & I'm getting sick of messing with it. :cowboy:

Nice pictures, here the wind is still blowing like nothing else. We have drifts five to six feet high. I think tomorrow will be a good day.

Aww, I want to take Baloo out in the snow but I board him and its not clear enough to get to the barn yet. Plus, I have a feeling he would hate going out in the snow, lol.
