Bought a Wedding Dress Today!

I bought a wedding dress at David's Bridal today!

The wedding is still a year and a half away (tentative date set for June 25th 2011), but because my fiance and I will be poor college students basically paying for our own wedding with verry little help from outside sources, we're starting to buy things early to spread out the spending.

I actually wasn't planning on buying a dress so soon, but after my first appointment I found this one and loved it! I went back today (a couple weeks later) and bought it!

Awesome! Can I see yours?? And isn't it great there? They have a huge variety of styles and a really nice range of prices, too. I had great customer service as well although I know that changes from store to store. (I feel like I'm writing an ad for them lol)

I have read so many bad reviews about David's Bridal and so many people don't like them. I was very pleased when I went though. They did mess up my invitations, but they were very nice about it and are sending new ones. Here is my dress(crappy pic of me but you get to see the dress lol. I really like yours! I don't think I want the tiara though....I posted another thread about what kind of head piece to get.

I got all of my other stuff there as well. Veil, shoes, guest book, invitations. We are in the same boat as you(college students), well just out of college.

I too got my dress at DB and had a good experience, but when I went with a friend the lady helping us was SNNNOOOOTY! I did like DB's being a small bride. The other stores only seem to carry the bigger sizes and expect you to clothes pin them down to see how they look. I didn't like that. I like trying on my actual size.
