He's gorgeous! You've had him for what, about a year now? Have you ridden Allegro much? He's 100% Percheron, right? I just love Percherons.

Jackie - I've had him almost 8 months now. It will be a year on March 14th (2 days before my b-day).

I haven't been on him a few times, but I haven't ridden him as much as I would have liked. There has there as been a lot going on not only with the horses (moving them and such, letting them get settled, etc), but just life in general too - I've changed jobs twice this year and have been dealing with some health issues among other things. We're mostly just starting groundwork as he's only had 4 months of professional training. Some of it is a refresher for him and other stuff he's picking up pretty fast. But he's stubbor and a little on the lazy side, and he gets bored easily. His idea of a good time is being petted 24/7..work just isn't very high on his list.

And yes, he is 100% Perchie

Thanks everyone! He's really a sweetheart too...someone forgot to tell him that he's a horse, not a dog.
