Good old Monday morning, lol!

I have to go into town this morning- get groceries, pay bills, all the yadayada.

It's still supposed to be nice today, so I'm hoping I'll get a chance to ride when I get home.

Scrambled eggs with ham, bacon and cheese in it this morning. By the way, the difference between that and scrambled egg mes is that the mess has potatoes in it! Thre's plenty if anyone wants some.

Good Monday Morning Gypsy and Arrow..and Everyone .

My daughter who lives in Maryland is on her way to Aruba to attend her bff Wedding!! She had a 23 hour lay over in Atlanta..Yea. We had a Great Day. She was disappointed that she did not get to ride yesterday but she will be back this summer with the boys and we will do some real riding..Yehaw!!

It was great to spend the day with her. I usually don't get all her full attention like this, since we usually are with her husband and her 5 and 2 year old boys.

I have to start cleaning over at Buck's Hollow today so we can get ready for Sundays Man's mother's 80 Surprise Birthday Party. It should be fun. I hope the weather stays warm during the day like it has been this weekend.

I'm just getting ready to head out the door to feed the ponehs. Going trail riding today with my neighbor and her little granddaughter, who is a really cute little kid; we get along great. I think we're going to pack a lunch so we can have a little picnic somewhere, which means I have to actually put Kota's saddle on because I'll need my saddle bags.:( *pouts* I sooo prefer bareback with him but oh well. Whenever her granddaughter comes I usually saddle up anyway so I won't have any trouble getting back on if I need to dismount and help re-adjust her saddle or hold the leadrope (she ponies her granddaughter on her miniature horse Dude:D) for her, etc. I'm too short and he's too tall for me to be able to mount him bareback from the ground.:mad: How pathetic is that?:rolleyes:

Anyway, hope everyone has a good day and gets some saddle (or bareback!:p) time in!:D

Morning. Am I the ONLY one who feels like I lost an hour with the time change?

This morning has been busy already, I have to take my daughter to the dermatologist (finally after the 2 month waiting list) to see if I can get more answers about her SUPER sensistive skin.

My mother in law is coming over to watch my son in 1/2 hour and I still have to do breakfast, etc. AH!

My kids are probably confused, we normally never have anyone watch them and for the last 4 days someone has watched them for an hour at least a day. 2 horseback rides, a date, and now a dr. appt.!

We went and saw "Zack & Miri" last night. It was SUPER funny, but really VERY dirty. Definitely NOT one you see with your parents, etc. There was an 70+ couple behind us and my hubby was very uncomfortable watching some parts!

Gotta get going. I wish you could really make breakfast for me today Gypsy!

Thinking about putting an ad in a horse magazine looking for a horse to compete. You'd be surprised at the amount of people looking for junior riders :).

Chocolate muffins from Asda for food today :D.

Good morning everyone! It's been crazy around here!

Today I have to pick up, deliver (unload, by myself :doh:) and set up my Nana's new freezer, and her new set of keys... then I'm going to come home and shower, then go to the next town over to pick up my Dad's drycleaning and try to find a job - a real one. :rolleyes: I'm even going to wear clean grown-up clothes and brush my hair! :eek: :D Then I have to come back here and write a paper that's due tomorrow (well... it was due last week, but she cancelled class), and call my partner for our presentation and rehash how we're going to do that... but I'm just ready for a nap. :sleep:

First thing's first though, my second breakfast. Just Eggo waffles if anyone wants one. :) We also have toast and homemade jelly. ;)

Good Morning Everyone. Everything at the rescue went well on Sat. We didn't have much of a turn out because this was a "rain date" and a lot of people had cancelled out. I was bummed for the owner in that respect because she has put so much heart into the open house/horse fest. WE are trying to raise money to build a barn. No barn there yet, they just moved in a lil over 5 months ago. Had a wedding Sat night ~ it was nice & a good time. Yesterday I just did some house work, home work & did some well needed lounging around.

gypsy: You always have some good sounding breakfast! YUM.
Arrow: Sorry mondays are your "monster days". I know the feeling though.
Diana: Thats great you got to spend some time with your daughter like that. Is she gone for a long time? Or will be back soon?
Shy: PJ's to school, sounds like fun. We have people around here that wear their PJ's everywhere. :rolleyes: That is only b/c in my opinion their (Lazy). But PJ day at school sounds fun!

Morning all. And I too feel like I lost an hour. Both horses seemed like they had been partying all night, very groggy this a.m. Weird.

Kids are mellow today, thank goodness after last week I need a mellow week here. We are supposed to have a lock down drill today, those are always interesting.

FoxFire...Thanks. Just got back from dropping daughter back at the airport. She will be in Aruba until Thursday, then back home to Maryland. She and the family will come visit us this summer, but I will probably get up there at least once before then.

Not really much going on today except have to go to work.
My father called me last night and said he is on his way to his winter home in AZ and should be here Wednesday or Thursday. It will be really nice to see him and have the kids get a chance to hang with Grandpa for a short while.

Dakota, this is too funny! I have the same problem when I ride bareback. If I get off my horse, I have to find a big rock or etc. to get back on.

FoxFire - I try! :cowboy: I actually had to rearrange my schedule for my class registration (my advisor hasn't lifted the hold on my account that he should've removed last week - my fault for not checking sooner, his for not doing it when he should have), so I'm worried I might not get my fiction writing class that I was excited about. :( Nana's house is the last stop today, so my bro (who gets off the bus there) and the teenage male from across the street can unload it. :clap: Yay! I'll still have a back tomorrow!

Now if he'd just call me so I can go to town! :doh:

I am going to take a bus and go 55 miles and put on my breaks on ice.:(. Very scary. I am going to have to borrow a depends because I know I am going to do something in my pants. I have been having a panic attack. NOt looking forward to it but I am leaving in 30 min. YIKES. If I die, it has been nice knowing you all.

Good Morning! Monday again.. still not awake. Had a good weekend, but I didnt get to see ben so Im missing the pony. (and yes I know he is 16.1 and not a pony, but dont tell him that!) I got my second holes pierced saturday night so that was fun. Not too bad of a week... meeting with my advisor today to work out next semesters schedule then working on some homework.

Good Morning :) Weekend was way too short but alot of fun and some relaxing as well. Halloween was a great time and then the next day we had a lovely rain....I love the first rains :) My BF and I just sat inside, watched movies and ate soup and garlic bread, yum. On Sunday I spent the day at the barn and it was wet but nice out, Biggs was feeling fresh. After a bit of lunge work he was turned out and decided to play in the puddles with the barn dog, it was pretty cute.

Coffee and muffins this morning! Supposed to be foggy and gloomy today, possible showers tonight and tomarrow morning and then clear until next weekend.
