What a great day!!! It was so nice out and hubby even got sunburned. It ended up being 76 degrees today! I love the sunshine! :D

Only Cheyenne rode today. I think Nico is loosing his interest or Missy has made him nervous with her attitude. :confused:

I brought Missy out early to tune her up and get her ready for Chy. She had an attitude in the round pen, threw a few bucks, decided it wasn't getting her anywhere and she settled down. By the time my family showed up I had her ready to go.... well I thought I did. :mad:

Chy ran a Time Only doing slow work and Missy did fine, but when she ran the actual event, Missy started bucking just as she got past the timer on the way home. :doh: Chy pulled her out of it, but of course it scared the crap out of Chy. So I rode Missy again in the warm up arena. After that Chy did not have any more problems, but she also did not push Missy like she usually does.

Looks like she had a good control with Missy and her bucking issue.:) She looks really good up there.

Missy is a very good girl even with the bucking. There is no way anyone could get my horse to listen that well at a playday (she listens to me but she doesn't do slow). Very nicely done!!! And 76!!!! Seriously jealous!!!! Sigh.

The announcer sounds really nice, it's cool that she calls the kids by name and tells them good job and stuff.:) That's great.:)

I NEED to get a new video camera! I love the tape one, but it's so hard to transfer videos. It took me 3 hours to get that video done. :doh: And then it cut the whole bucking part out. :mad:

Poor Chy came out of the arena almost in tears, because it scares her when Missy acts up. I made her stay on for a little while, then I got on Missy and made her lope in the warm up arena. I think Missy is just being a brat and trying to see what she can get away with. She threw several bucking fits with me in the round pen before the gymkhana started. Once she knew I wasn't going to let her stop, then she stopped having her pissy fits and was good.

I can't remember if it was the Turn N Burn or the Key hole Barrel...:confused:

Circle R.. thanks, yes she has gotten better.. just needs more confidence in taking charge of Missy when she acts up. ;) Are you coming to the Birthday Gymkhana on the 21st???? :innocent:
