So I had to buy Sonora a new sidepull bridle and while I was at the tack store I picked up a new fleece cover for it (because she has a VERY sensitive nose) and I bought her some new bell boots and a new halter. (My friend Madi said these boots were made for Sonora, they are the rad plaid from classic equine, they look like naughty school girl boots. . . don't have a pic just yet but I'll get one!)
I tried on her new sidepull and she seems to like it. She was very responsive to it on the ground and I ground drove her for the first time (she did great). Overall I worked her about 10 minutes on the ground before giving up and going inside. I'm still really sick and she was nice and calm and I didn't want to push my luck!
I took picks of the new noseband cover and bridle. It's actually more purple in real life and goes with her new plaid boots and multicolored purple halter!
