Awwww! That's so sad! I was following his rides after I found out about him last year. He's given me hope that I'll have Gypsy with me for a long while yet.

:cry: He looks like Rashad. Same spirit in his eyes. Rest in peace my dear old man. It definitely makes my cry thinking that it's possible that Rashad would make it that long.

What a bummer!

I've read so much about him, and how he had to have a special diet, but he was still out there doing CTRs. He's had an amazing history.

He's making the long journey over the Bridge now, and won't have to worry about his P&R on the other side.

Aw, poor Elmer! I worked with Mary Anna and Elmer at Girl Scout National Center West in Ten Sleep Wyoming during the summer of 1986. I keep meaning to scan the old pics and post them, maybe I'll get to it this week.

OH NOOOOO - I hadn't read this yet! I was always bugging y'all posting all of Elmer's stories - I absolutely loved his stories and following his rides. It has been such a sad week already and my tears had finally dried... they're baaAAck.:cry:
