When I ride Dallas I like to do some silly things just to get him used to everything. He was being such a good boy while we were practicing patterns today.

This was my first torture session.

And this was just a slow run on the barrels.

OK... I think I am done posting videos for today!

Gaited.... LOL... they already have! :)

Valleyrider... The first time I tried that on Dallas he freaked out! I was grabbing mane, reins, saddle and whatever else I could find to hold onto till he stopped running and bucking... LOL.... He has since settled down, obviously but it was fun getting to this point. :)

You did a good job then getting him to that point:) Oh I could never do that on Cloud.. I would be grabbing on too in the beginning.. I can barely shoo a fly on his back. He has gottne much better too.. Lucky for me Bones is not like that.. He could care less.. Funny how some will jump out of their skins and others don't care..

He, he! What Vicky said!:):p

I know what you mean, though. If I don't periodically wave my arms around for no reason when I'm on Gypsy, then, the next time I want to get my sweatshirt off and tie around my waist, I'm in for big trouble, lol! Horses do need to be reminded of things once in a while, lol!

That is funny at least I know now that I am not the only owner that does that. I do more then that though. I really get the saddle rocking and did it one day so bad that it rolled glad I was on Cutter that day because she stood there while I fixed it again. I am now trying to get her to accept things over her head. She don't much like it but she doesn't spook to bad. I enjoyed the videos.
