Hey all,
I know it's been awhile I've been on here. Well I've been on here lurking.. just not posting!! I'm WATCHING you. I have had so much going on and haven't had much time. But I have some fun & exciting updates & some not very fun updates.
Not so fun:
My cousing (if you remember me talking about him) has stage 3 cancer. He has cancer in 5 of his 14 lymph nodes. He did have surgery to remove the cancer on his colon, but then they had found the lymph node cancer & if you know anything about your lymph nodes, diseases in them is NOT GOOD. Anyway, please keep him in your prayers.
We lost a wonderful horse at the rescue a couple days ago, she had broken her leg & had to be put down. She has been through so many trials & tribulations and ended up in a wonderful home with a young gal who was training her to barrel race & they clicked so well. We are bummed.
Good/Exciting news:
I have found a WEDDING DRESS, this past weekend. As much as I dreaded it, it really wasn't that bad.
My girls also found their dresses this past weekend!! WE had a little bit of a cliche in our search process when they had found a dressed they liked & the bridal lady said it came in my "color" I wanted & when they went to buy them, they found out it didnt. :( Good thing I am such a easy going person because the lady came back to me with her tail tucked and told me the not so good news then cowarded like a little dog (like I was gonna beat her) I just said.. okay so what colors are there... she showed me, and when she mentioned another color that I was having trouble decideding between I just bounced on that color. (the next day I freaked out ~ because I may have been hasty on my decsions but I'm still happy with it, after freaking a little!) LOL.
I GOT accepted into the nursing program at school. I've been trying to get into it for last 4 semester?! Geez I'm so excited and yet so nervous all at once. The program will start before the wedding happens so I'm worried on how this will interfere with all that! And I will have an extra hard time stashing money because of the wedding... But I will muddle through it & it will be worth it.
On the horse front: WE have almost dug out from all the snow & it's expected to rain for the next few days so that should melt the rest. It will be a muddy mess out in those pastures but the horses are gonna love being back out in their regular fields. I hope!! Legend is starting to shed already?! She's blanketed anyone elses horses starting to shed?! She's good though & still a diva!! LOL.
