Last night I was riding with some of the girls at the barn. One of my friends (let's call her...C) went to get on her horse on a jump, which, really was stupid on her part because there was a mounting block a few feet away. Apparently she was trying to show off for a friend that was mad at her or something, but anyway, she fell and landed on the jump. I wasn't up there, but a friend of mine that was said she laughed when she fell or something, then she came down to the barn riding her horse and was on the phone with her mom saying she couldn't breath. I kept asking her what was wrong and she wouldn't answer me and she gave me the phone and I still had no idea what was going on. So some other people came down to the barn and I stayed down there a while, she told me her mom was coming so I rode up to the arena to get my camera and I still needed to cool Blue off. No one at the barn thought it was serious because she's notorious for...uhmm...story telling. I came down when her mom picked her up. Then I text her today to ask her if she was okay and she rudely said, "U no i'm bleeding internally" and I started getting really worried and tried to call her and she screened me. Then I left her a message to ask if she wanted us to bring her some food from her favorite resteraunt and if she wanted me to feed her horse tonight and I tried to call her mom but she wouldn't answer either. So I'm thinking she's mad at me...but I don't know what I did wrong.

BTW, she's in 7th grade...I'm in 11th. Don't know if it makes a difference. But did I do anything wrong?

Eh, I don't blame the reactions she got. If she acts immature and cries wolf frequently (or exaggerates), what else were any of you suppose to do? You're a good person and are offering to do very nice things for her, if she wants to turn them down because she's being immature/wants to act like a baby/wants attention...whatever it may be, let her. =P

ETA: I hope she's ok! Lol, I bet a sound like a big meanie. xD

Well I wouldn't worry about her being mad too much. Let's just hope she is o.k. Pride can make people act in strange ways sometimes. Maybe she is just angry because she thinks you knew what happened or that someone told you a side of the story she didn't like or on and on and on. Just keep being a friend, if that's what you were.

Well yea, I mean I hope she's okay too. I guess I just feel guilty...but I know I shouldn't because I wasn't even there and how could I have prevented it? Oh well, my mom tried to call her mom, no luck. But I'm just going to stop calling her and pray that she's okay.

I just called my trainer to see if she heard anything. She said she hasn't.

Just wondering, I've never known anyone with internal bleeding...but don't you have to be hospitalised for it or something?

Oh don't feel bad. She caused her own injury and it wasn't your fault. :)
Hope she's okay, but hopefully it'll teach her a valuable lesson lol

You didn't do anything wrong. She should thank you for trying to be nice and helpful when it wasn't your problem, cudos for you :) It was her fault for not being careful.

It was nice of you to offer to bring her some of her favorite food. I'd just be thankful that she wasn't more seriously injured, and chalk her behavior up to her young age.
