todays fun day with misty

today i went out saw misty usally hard to catch but was easy today she came right up to me when i called her name she used to never do that. then i brought her in the barn groomed her up and cleaned out her hoofs she does good with all that then kinda just did a little desensatising with her where you throw the rope all over her body and stuff. then i grabed the lunging stuff and lunged her today she did good she was full of energey and was really hyper today and just enjoyed being in the deep snow. she did charge at me wasn't ready the first time but she didn't hurt me or touch me she just was playing around the second time i was prepared to shoo her away from me and then she lunged normal and did good the other way she did good too. i had fun i'm hoping to work with her again tomarrow its a lot of fun. she looked so pretty in the deep snow.

Awe, sounds like a fun day! You need to get some pictures though next time =P We'd love to see them :)

I'm glad to hear Misty & you are doing better. 'Someone' was right when they told you to give treats & walk away for a while. ;) She needed to learn you are special to her.

That is great that Misty did well for you. The more you soend time with her the better she will get.

Good job! I am starting to see the improvement with Misty, even the little things like the ability to catch her. If you want I can go out there with you today.. we could do some desensitizing or something. :)
