I don't know what I did, but today when I woke up and tried to get out of bed, the back of my leg was hurting BAD!!

I worked all day Saturday. Up at 4am, at the fields by 5:30 and and didn't leave the fields till 6pm. It was a really long day because we had tournaments.

I must have pulled something in my calf. It works itself out when I am walking around, but if I am sitting for any length of time, it knots up again and hurts like crazy.

Figures, I have 4 weeks off and now I am crippled up.

Sounds like a muscle cramp. I get them and I use heat to relieve them. Also, if you are prone to them, drink some tonic water, the quinine in the tonic helps relieve cramping.

Careful, could be a blood clot. If not better soon I would have it checked out.

Listen to Natisha, it might be nothing but it could be something. Not to scare you buy my uncle fell and was having pains in his leg, thought it was from the fall, it was a blood clot and he died. Not to be a downer but now any time anyone has some sort of bad pain that sort of comes from nowhere I think of my uncle. I get those charlie horse things if I stretch my leg muscles too much and those things HURT to the point of tears, it usually happens during my sleep. Hope you will feel better soon.

Natisha could be right, but I do know if I spent all day on my feet like that, I would probably have sore calves, too!:)

Still doesn't hurt to keep Natisha's advice in mind, though. Better safe than sorry!

I'll see how it feels in a few days. It does feel better when I have been walking around.

I remembered that I was in the league trailer and stepped out the door and there was a hole there. So I stepped down about 3 inches further than I thought. So I am assuming that is when I would have pulled the calf muscle.

Heat doesn't seem to help much. But walking does. :)

If you flex your foot up towards your knee does the pain increase?

If I flex my foot up, yes, the calf hurts. Not as much today, but it still hurts. There is no swelling, just muscle pain.
