well, ive just started (half) leasing a wonderful mare named Dante. :) i went out....two weeks ago (i think...) to see her & talk w/ the owner, deb, and what not. she seemed real nice (we saw her undersaddle, get caught, etc) T'day my mom and I went out and signed the paper work, and I hopped on to get a feel for her. I just rode her on thee longe line, walked, trotted, halted, & backed. she's really a good horse, very responsive.
I'll have to track down a leather punch, though.....stirrups on her saddle don't go short enough for my midget legs:rolleyes: lol.
Dante's an appendix mare, more looks more TB like than QHsey. Ill bring the camera out one of these days;) the picture is one that was e-mailed to me by the owner.
