10 weeks! What? - Ultrasound pics added post 31!

Some may recall that in the beginning of January, I miss-carried my pregnancy. It was hard and would not wish that experience on anyone, and I thank everyone who helped me through that time.

Since then I have been sick and in and out of Dr.s. Today was the last in confirmation appointments. I am pregnant about 10 weeks along and the baby is healthy with a strong heart beat. I am due Oct 6.

Thank you everyone. No I do not think twins as they don't run in our families, but I do think it has something to do with another egg that was released prior to the miss-carriage. I am going to ask my doc. at my next appointment because the baby is very well formed but the dates are not adding up to after the miss-carriage but to just before.

Who knows really I am just happy for healthy!

That is wonderful news. I had something similar happen to me with my 2nd. It is very possible that you aborted 1 twin and kept the other. It happened to me. The Dr. actually had me scheduled for a D@C but I refused to go. I am glad I did. Tyler is here because of that.

Wow, Thank you everyone. Hubby can't stop smiling and our daughter thinks turning into a big sister is just the coolest thing right now. We are very happy to have seen a healthy baby on the ultra sound. The Dr. even switched the image to 3-D. Talk about crazy we saw the baby moving and waving, ears where starting to form and you could start to see the outlines of the face.

I finally got hubby to scan the photos of the ultra sound. The top one is the 3-D and the bottom is the traditional view.

You can start to see the baby's face in the 3-D, :D the other doesn't show much but that is the view that during the ultra sound you can srr the heart beating.

Thanks every one. I still am amazed at those 3-D ultra sounds. We had one done for our daughter when she was about 36 weeks and they are so detailed she looked exactly how she was when she was born. Hubby and I want to do another for this baby too. :D
