A color for Prodigy

Originally I was going to go with red for Prodigy, but I guess Ranger is going red-- And well, I'd like to try each horse to have a different color.(teens :rolleyes: :p) But Dan beat me to it and I don't have anything red for Prod, so I'm thinking of other colors.

Melee is light blue
Tyke is lime green
Blessing is hot pink
Raen is hunter green
Ranger is red

So the colors I am thinking for Prodigy is lilac purple or mint green as I love pastel colors. :) I am also considering black or royal blue.
Deep purple, orange, brown/tan, and yellow are all big no nos. :p

Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't have to buy anything right now but a halter and lead, it'll be a couple years before I get a saddle pad and all that jazz. :cowboy:

Mint green would be friggen' adorable and black would be SHABAM! What statement do ya wanna make? =P

When in doubt I always go with black. I love black! He is so adorable! He'll look cute in anything.

It looks like he's going to be a nice bay dun color. I would go with Black, especially if he starts shedding out darker. With his black mane, tail, legs, and dun markings, black "accessories" would look very smart!

I think with mint green it would just put too many greens in the picture...especially since the lime green stuff usually fades to a mint green :) My vote is Burgundy or possibly Navy BUT out of the colors you're already toying with, I'd choose Royal Blue!

Thanks for the input everyone! I would really like to put a light, pastel, girly color on him.. I was getting pretty set on lilac but I looked thru Ebay and it's not easy to come by. Then I was thinking light pink, hmm.. Purple is going to be the new pony's(coming sometime next week) color.

But I might just go with navy if I can't find anything light, I do already have a navy yearling sized halter. ;)

I actually have a Weaver light pink halter, brand new...I grabbed the wrong size when I was at a tack store (Cloe's head fits it, except the throat latch, that's how small she is!) lol. I think it's yearling size, if not weanling...hmm...maybe I could send that out to you? I always thought pink would look cute on him, if anything, it's just another halter for him until he is fully grown. ^_^ I would definitely say light pink or black for him, hehe.

I would have to say navy blue too. He would look good in a deep purple (even though you don't like it lol) it would look great on him I think.
