Secret Santa's *Adults 18 and over*

Rules are as follows for Secret Santa's: (All Adults)
-Secret Santa's must by 18 years or older.
-Secret Santa's must have a 50 count post. Just so we know your someone rather involved and not just looking to pick off peoples information. *Update: Anyone that is from H.com with over 50 post there is allowed to join up. I will be checking to see if you have an account over there. If your username is different there vs. here, please let me know. Thanks! *
-Secret Santa's are asked to post up to this thread to tell us that your joining up, and give a list of things your interested in, so your SS will have maybe an idea of what to get. This is not to say you'll get anything like that, but it helps with ideas.
-Secret Santa's will need to email me their name and address by or on November 22nd. *Please include your username on here, so I know who's who. *
-Secret Santa's will spend no less then $20.00 for their package. You can add more if you'd like, but try to keep it close, in fairness to everyone.
-I will try to email out the information to each SS with the information of their recipient no later then November 23rd.
-Please reply to my email no more then 48 hrs after I send it, so that I can make sure everyone who signs up will have a SS. If I haven't heard anything I'll have to reassign, so that everyone that wants to participate can get something from their SS.
-Gifts will need to be mailed out no later then December 15th, so that everyone can hopefully receive their packages by Christmas. Please be an early Santa on this, so that everyone will get theirs on time.
-When shipping your package, I would recommend getting a tracking number on it, in case it gets lost or delayed you'll be able to track it.
-Please send me an email once you ship your package, so I'll know it's been shipped. Those who receive the packages please email me (and if you care to post you can post you got yours just don't say where from,etc.) once you receive your package, so that I'll know you have been taken care of. I'll be keeping records of all of this so we'll make sure everyone gets one.

-We will reveal the Secret Santa's on December 31st. That away most everyone should have received their packages by then, and it will still be near Christmas.

I collect suns (wall hangings, candles, ornaments, wind chimes - you name it, if there is a sun on it I want it!), I have about eight of the "Trail of the Painted Ponies", and I have four horses that I love stuff for. Timber wears forest, Thunder wears black, Sedona wears red and Lele wears purple... only Lele owns a rope halter so the boys have to wear hers when I work with them... they feel like sissy's in lavender!:) I love to read and am particularly hooked on vampire stuff lately - I'm reading all of Charlaine Harris "Sookie Stackhouse" books now. I pretty much love anything "horsie".

Yeah! I've had such fun with this in the past. My interests include photographing my children - so nice picture frames are always wonderful. My dogs I love anything "doggie", I have a lab, a basset mix, a basenji mix, a shepherd mix, and a long haired dachshund. I collect salt and pepper shakers, the more unique the better. I put together somewhat of a little christmas list :) I like to make it easy on people...but I'd enjoy anything you think up on your own too!!

*I'm really wanting to read either one of those Sara Gruen books...Riding Lessons or Flying Changes (if you go to http://www.half.com (http://www.half.com/) you can get them used for REALLY cheap!)

*Biggs loves treats! Anything apple or carrot flavor is the best, but he'll pretty much eat any kind of horse treat :)

*Slippers! Something warm and cozy to wear around the house during wintertime would be nice :). I wear 6 1/2-7. Preferrably with tread on the bottom so I can ocassionally go outside.

*Blanket, maybe a horse related print or anything soft and warm to add to my bed would be great! I like earth tones (beiges, browns, greens...ect)

*Candy! I love me to some candy that's for sure. My favorites are Reeces (cups, sticks, anything), Twizzlers, Peach rings, or skittles (purple or blue bag).

Okay, that should do it! I'm excited to start preparing the package for my person!

We haven't had but two or three sign up the past 3 or 4 days, so I figured if we could go ahead and work all the details out, people could get a few extra days to get their stuff together and sent.

Also, instead of having alot of people posting up pages of the stuff they got, I think we should have it all in one thread. Like " What did you get from your Secret Santa?"

I don't really know what I like... Muffin could use a normal halter. All I have are rope halters. He would need a draft size, a brake away would be nice but good luck finding one in draft size. lol Umm.. I like signs, like funny western signs you hang around the house. I get them on ebay. Maybe a western type picture frame I could put a picture of Muffin in... I have no idea what I want. I also like wooden puzzles. Not the kind you get in a box and put them together on your table to make a picture. I mean 3-D mind teaser puzzles with blocks and weird shapes you have to figure out or piece together and solve. You can search "wooden Puzzles" and come up with a ton of them.

I'm having fun too! Buying stuff for my Secret Santa! It's harder then I thought because I don't know the person really. I just have to spy on there posts and try to figure out things about them...They don't post much so it's kinda hard..I don't even know if they own a horse or what it's name is :doh:. But, I'm trying and I think I got some things they will like :) I kinda wish I knew more about them or there horse so I could get more personalized items with a name or breed on it but I think I got some things that they will really like!

Having us all post what we like helped a lot for me because I wouldn't have a clue what to get them!

Yay--I got mine today and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! I got a pair of socks with horseshoes on them and a candle holder that is made of 3 big horseshoes that you hang on a wall with a glass globe and burgundy candle. I'll take pictures later when my camera charges up. I also got 6 bags of horsie treats for my 3 horses and 3 donkeys. Thank you, SS. Can't wait to find out who sent me this. I really am thrilled!

I looked at the horse treats and thought they were cookies. At first, I thought, man these don't look so good and then it dawned on me what they were. Had a real blonde moment there for a second!:rolleyes:

I wouldn't tell them who you are with either package. They can post up and say they got one and you'll know who your SS is, but I think most everyone wanted to guess who got who first, just by the package.

I got mine last night! Didn't get any pics cause I can't find my camera(GRRR), but I got a picture frame, some gourmet coffee, chocolates(yum!), a really cute western saddle ornament, an awesome candle that smells like gingerbread, maple pecan pie, and hot cocoa and cookies, and treats for the boy. The frame means a lot to me since it looks like it was bought as an unfinished, and then painted and a horse, a saddle, and a horse shoe attached to it. Thank you so much, the gifts were great.

marshmello lollipop and the cutest german shepherd figure.
only clue as to who my ss is was the state of kentucky so
off to investigating i go.

I received a wonderful book called Hope Rising , about rescued horses helping to heal children's broken hearts, a nice book mark to go with the book, (I love to read so getting that was great) pretty horsey note pad something that I'm always in need of, and my secret santa also included some horse treats for my four legged babies..

My secret santa wins the TAPE award!!! I think there were 10 rolls of tape used on it! I looked like a kid on christmas morning trying to tear into it!

I was hoping this would happen, it came on a day that was otherwise going bad for me. It ended my day on a bright note & I really needed that.

Evidently I tricked mine into thinking I was very good girl because I made out really good! :p;) lol

I got 2 rope halters, 1 black, 1 blue; some horsey treats (that smell good to me... I'm resisting lol - gonna feed the boys a few tomorrow morning); Ghirardelli chocolate squares with carmel & WOW those are SO yummy! Last but not least, I also got an "Elmer" ornament! It's Elmer on a jingle bell - it was up hanging on the tree immediately!

I checked the mail today!! YaY!!! Hubby and I went to get hay cubes and on the way back checked the mail. I was so excited to see "Secret Santa" on the box!! :):):) :clap:

I opened it up and found such a cute picture frame of a metal cowboy boot thats painted!! Then I saw the Welcome sign with horses hanging under it!! Ohh, I love them! I was going back and forth trying to figure out where I want to mount the sign... I just love it. I can't figure out if I want it outside or inside the house! :)

Just so no one worries. There is a package at the p.o for me. I can't get it until at the earliest a week from tomorrow. I work in a different state from the one I live in (nearly 1+ hour commute). I've been at work since Thurs., I'm home today yet leaving tomorrow to go visit family for 2 days. I go back to work on x-mas eve through the weekend again. Lately I've been very busy and out of the area a good bit. Not usually home when my p.o is open. So anyway, whoever had my name, I'm sorry about the delay in picking up the package I just haven't been within an hour of the p.o during their hours in nearly a week, and won't be for the next week. ~Warm and fuzzy fleece blanket with a BEAUTIFUL picture of a chestnut horse running in a field....it looks like BIGGS! It's so comfy I already cuddled up with it on the couch to watch a movie last night :) My dog is trying to stake claim on it but she is gonna have to fight me for it.

~The book RIDING LESSONS by Sarah Gruen (I love her!) and once I finish reading the book I'm on I will definitely be cracking this one open. I can't wait, I've been wanting to read this for a while :)

Just a quick note to say I got mine! Given all the craziness today and the fact that we are stuck at home instead of doing what we had planned (see making the best of it thread in General), I called the post office and asked them to redeliver the package! My post lady is awesome. She brought me the box and cookies for all my pups and stopped to visit with the doggies for a bit.

I got an awesome doggie t-shirt that I absolutely love, and chewies for my puppers (they've already raided the bag). Thank you secret santa. I'm pretty sure I know who you are since I got an x-mas card from you as well and couldn't figure out how you got my addy! LOL! I absolutely love it and so do my pups! It couldn't have come at a better time either, I wish I could have picked it up sooner however, given all thats happened now it was a pick me up I sorely needed! Thank you!!!

OY! I have soooo much to do before my parents arrive in three hours BUT I just HAD TO log on to say that my mail lady just dropped off my gift from Secret Santa!

Right away, I checked the return address and thought "Pennsylvania... hmmm, who do we have from there?" Then as I was tearing into the box, the address label came off and underneath it said "meet Leah @ 8:30" and I thought "I'm almost sure there isn't a Leah in PA so who has a kid named Leah?". So then I opened all my gifts - LOVED them - which were four beautiful sun/celestial type framed pictures AND an adorable little western snowman ornament! I was very impressed that my Santa got me things that were something I collect and thought it was pretty cool to get things for ME as I just got done stuffing stockings full of gifts for my horses! :) As I was starting to break down the box I looked a little closer at the tiny print on the postage label and saw DELAWARE and thought "my facebook friend Leah is in Delaware"!

I just got another package!! I'm guessing my SS is Domino as she stated she only sent half the gift. Muffin got a new Breakaway halter!! WoW, I was shocked to find that!! I have been looking for one that would fit him! I can't believe you found one!!

I put his antlers on it and I think it's cute with the green halter and his antlers :) It fits great!
Muffin seems to like it. He was doing his head turning trick :)
