Halloween Paperchase! *PICS*

OK, so 4 of us from my barn went to a Halloween paperchase on Sunday and we went in the costume division! I painted poor Baloo and everything! It was pretty fun, except for the BO's horse is not good for these things and so we had to do a lot of walking (bummer) but it was still fun!

It was fun! There were TONS of deer too, so it was spooky for the horses too, lol. We galloped up this one hill and there was a deer RIGHT NEXT TO US when we stopped! I was like maybe 5 yards from Baloo and I. It loked up like "huh?" and took off, lol.

Then we saw a bunch more in fields after that.

Can I come with next time?? Your so lucky to have such a brave horse! Biggs gets terrified of costumes, lol. I love the last pic of the girl on the arab, the cape looks so pretty draped across his/her back like that :) Love your costume of course!

Thanks guys! Yeah, I was worried Baloo would be afraid of my cloak-y thing, and realized halfway through the ride it had to be goosing his stomach, but he acted like everyone looked normal! hehe. We scared some ponies though :(
Glad y'all liked Baloo's paint, now I have to try and get the paint OFF! lol.
It's too cold to bathe him, so I have to just keep currying.... and currying... and currying...

I promise this is the last time I'll bring this up--but your relationship with Baloo is just proof that sometimes you just need to move on. Bailey wasn't making you happy, he went on to a new home, now you have Baloo. 2 horses, 2 people happier than they were before!

Yeah, thats my friend Leah and her arab, Tristan. She bellydances and she wore her bellydancer cover-up robe and tied the bells around Tristan, it was really cool.

Yep. I really believe some people are really meant for a certain horse, and sometimes it takes a few tries to match them up! I've had a few horses, and I really feel like Baloo is the one I've been waiting for. I've tried really hard with each one, but I didn't have to try at all with Baloo, it just clicked!
