So I thought I'd make a post with a few pictures of what's been going on lately!

Tanner has been absolutely amazing lately. He's come such a long way. I can even see huge improvements compared to last show season, to now. This year we're just doing local shows ... and we will be going in pleasure classes now - no more walk/trot! I'm so excited. We've worked so hard to get a good relationship and come this far. One thing he's really taught me is patients and that there are two ways of doing things. The quick way and the right way. I am SO glad I got a horse that did not know how to do everything, and was show ready, like the one I almost bought before Tanner. Teaching my own horse helped me to learn things myself and made us so much closer. I can feel that he trusts me now more than ever. & That is such an amazing, rewarding feeling! :)

I'm going off to University in the Fall, and I still plan on keeping him, of course! Hopefully we can find a place close to the school I decide to go to. I've already received acceptance & a scholarship to UofWindsor for Honours Criminology. Pretty sweet, but that's not really where I want to go. Although it would be nice to be near Sugarsgirl! lol

In a verryyyy short period of time! LOL. Better start Tanning with this dark hair, I look white as heck haha. However, I will be going back blonde by my Prom in May... Being brunette isn't the same as being blonde :p haha

My Boyfriend is out in Manitoba for 4 months, which sucks monkey butt. Haha, it's okay though, because he's out there for a good reason! :) He's finishing his Firefighting & Paramedic stuff in school. He's finally on the right track in life & I'm so proud of him. Went to the hotel to say bye, it was sooo hard. I wrote him a letter and bought him a digital camera so he could take pictures. He bought me flowers, a necklace that says “Forever & Always” on it. It’s in the shape of a heart and it’s got a diamond in it. He also gave me a teddy bear. He didn’t have to do that, it was really sweet of him. Lots of tears that night.

I’m flying over to see him in April and hopefully he can fly down for my prom in May & then were meeting up in Texas in June! (Texas is where the test is being held).

Well, that’s my life for right now, I’ll post more of Tanner after I come back from work… This is my March break and I work 43 hours! March break my butt! LOL, Enjoy!

Boy you're definitely not blonde anymore! Lol. I like it! Great pics and I hope your bf's schooling goes well. Don't work yourself too hard !
Tanner looks beautiful as always, I hope you two do great this show season.

Great pics, Ashley.:) Glad you, Tanner, and your BF (who is really cute by the way!:D) are doing well. I love Tanner's halter. I think it would look good on Beauty!:D
I like your new hair, it's really cute.:) I thought about dying mine a color similar to that, but it would probably make me look freakishly pale. I already could be mistaken for a vampire, so looking any paler would probably be a bad thing for me, lol.:rolleyes:

Glad to here Tanner is doing really great. He is such a pretty boy. I like your new hair the dark do really makes your blue eyes pop.

You know I really like the dark, but you can pull off whatever! I kinda wanted to go back to blonde, but I guess Im the opposite...its just not the same as being a brunette. :D
Im glad you and Tanner are doing well, cant wait for some show pictures! And you and your boyfriend look adorable together. :)

Agreed!! And your hair looks gorgeous, I saw it on facebook and I'm like ooh it looks nice! I'm a big fan of going darker though lol.
Tanner looks great, and it's good to hear you're doing well :) He looks very fuzzy lol

Let's see: great update, great pics of you two--what a pair, great hair color(s), cute guy, cool city shots--does that cover it all? Glad for an update, can't wait to see how you do in the shows this year--good luck! If anyone makes their own luck, horse-wise, it's you!:)

Tanner is a beautiful dapple palomino. i love the dark palomino better than the lighter ones. Have fun showing this year.

Wow Luv2, you have been busy..The pics are great. Tanner is looking good. Dark and fuzzy. Love the darker hair on you too.

Thanks for sharing. First I want to say I love your hair color. I think brunette is your color. Glad Tanner is doing good and he looks good. Congrats on your scholorship and going to college. You Bf is not bad looking either. Well it looks like you are doing good and that is great to here. Have fun and stay out of trouble. ;)
