Well, what a day yesterday was....I wasn't able to get online at all in the afternoon or last nite.....I finally got back on this morning. I would get as far as getting on the internet, but then I wasn't able to browse at all, and would get a message stating "cannot connect to the server".... I was on the phone with tech support for over an hour, they thought maybe I may have a corrupted file....I am clueless about all that tho. I just hope it works now...I ran a virus scan and it seemed to have caught anything that was out there. I need my computer for job searches so I just cannot lose it now (that temp job I had is done with, so back to the drawing board now). Anyway, if I seem to disappear, that may be why....my computer has been flipping out on me....

Maybe you sneezed on your computer and gave it that virus you had last week?! :) I sure hope it's feeling better today!
Good luck with your job search. I know something will turn up.

If it is a corrupted file or virus you can always use your system disks to restore back a few days - then you should be fine.

if you don't have alot of data on your hard drive that you would hate to loose that's the way to go - i try not to keep much of anything on my hard drive for that very reason :)

DOH always late on the subject. I was going to suggest that!! Always seems to work for me..... I'm so "computer" dumb!!
Remeli my suggestion:
Pick up computer (as you curse out loud) and find open window & throw out at least 2nd story window!! (Cursing part makes you feel better!) :p
Serious though: Hope you figure it out! We don't wanna loose ya!

I know what a pain that is. I was having problems with our computer and had to use the Work Force development computers. That was a pain, but I did learn how to post my resume on Google so I could pull off my resume that way and email it to employers when I was at Jobservice. We finally replaced the modem and things have improved. I have to fill out applications for my husband and me. Tomorrow I am even dropping off some applications for BOB that I filled out tonight. Such fun!! I went to a career seminar Tuesday night but I think a job is more important than a career right now. I even applied for a "Candy striper" which is more or less a bed maker at a nursing home.
