my baby is four today.

I can't believe how quickly the last four years have gone. She turns four today. She has changed so much in four years, she's the only one of my daughters who has changed that much in their physical appearance, although her smile remains the same. First she had hair that went from her eyebrows straight down her back, and we prayed every night that she'd shed. She did

Her hair came back in as curly as can be and over the years has progressed to poker straight locks. She doesn't have a shy bone in her body and quickly volunteers for anything and everything. She jumps into all activities with a smile on her face and the best personality. She usually quickly manages to wrap everyone around her finger. She knows how to get what she wants in just the sweetest way. She is my biggest helper and by far the most patient of my children.

I love all my children more than anything, but Jade is the one who has declared herself my girl. The other girls have pledged their allegiance to daddy, most of the time. It sure is nice to have one who thinks the sun rises and sets on me.

Happy Birthday Jade! She is such a beautiful little girl, and I mean it. Some little girls are cute but she's just beautiful :) They grow up so fast, pretty soon she'll be high school breakin hearts!

I think she's beautiful as well, all my girls are dirt smudges and all;), but differently if you know what I mean. But hey I'm mom and I'm prejuidiced a bit and I know it. I just can't believe my baby isn't a baby anymore.

Yesterday she told me she remembered being in my belly and she hated it in there. She said it was dark, smelled like farts, and I'd locked the door so she couldn't get out. Her story about it was hilarious. The way she described everything, you'd think she truly remembered it all. Where she came up with it I have no clue. She definitely can come up with the stories though. Just like the time our fish ate Mr. Marshall's finger!

My middle daughter will turn 6 in August. Looks like we'll be celebrating that glory and sadness at the years flying by together. It just felt like the years flew by faster for Jade than any of my others. It must be because she's the baby.

Thanks for all the well wishes, I read through them with her tomorrow. For now she is sleeping. Seems she's got a definite cold coming on, and was pretty tired after cookies, dinner and presents at Granny's this evening. She was out in the car and barely woke up when we got home. Hope she's feeling better tomorrow, but she definitely had a happy fun day today.
