Heh... today I brought my pond fish in to the house for winter. Their habitat is a little sparse till I can get to Petsmart and get some new plants.

The kittens think they are fascinating :)

Peanut wonders... Are they tasty?

Are they munchable?

Well if this isn't the most fascinating puzzler! Wicket! Come and check this out!

Wicket very serious about this development...

Even the Twittery cat checks them out briefly...

Now... at this point I probably should have stepped in....

But I really wanted a picture of how that turned out :innocent:.

Unfortunately, dang delayed shutter on the camera, I missed the big splash! Here she is a second later... water still flyin'...

She is undeterred though... wet, but undeterred.

In the end, I found a board to go on top for now, to save her from herself ;)... I can't use the hood that came with it, it's not near strong enough.

Anyway... I thought the pics were cute :)

LOL! I had to show hubby the pics of Wicket's big plunge. That would TOTALLY be our youngest cat.. soaking wet and not even phased! :D

Jack was dozing in the back room this afternoon... I don't think he's come out and seen them yet.

Awwww! Jack missed out on the fun- so far!

That would have been so neat to see- poor Wicket- you think she would have learned her lesson.

I like that pic of Tweek staring into the tank- almost like she's trying to decide which one she wants.

Peanut looks almost mesmerized, he,he!

Lol silly kitty!!!! And wow you have lucky outdoor fish!!!! But I guess it freezes quite a bit more up there than it does here. . . our fish just winter outside in the bottom of the tank.

Actually, I'm told they'd be fine even if it freezes, but my trouble is actually that I get so many leaves and pine needles and even branches down in it in winter it's a pain to keep clear, and we're not outside to enjoy them anyway, so I just pack 'em inside.

Well that makes sense! Plus they serve as kitty t.v. during the cold months.

What great pictures! I love the ones through the tank... and the one of Wicket wet is great - I probably wouldn't have been able to get a pic as I would have been peeing my pants in laughter!

Tee hee that is too adoreable watching them watch the fish!! My Dad use to do the same thing with our pond fish when I was younger. Our dog had a serious infatuation with them.

OMG that's too funny! They probably don't understand why you got them this present but won't allow them to eat it!
