Good Morning all. I just thought I'd start the thread as I am sure I will not be back on here today. I got to go to the rescue today and hopefully "Pops" will load for us so he can go to New Bolton and see if he is a canidate for eye surgery. Then back off to home and class. Late afternoon nap ~ seeing as I was up all night running BS calls in the rinky dink town that I work in.

HMMMM lets see Breakfast: Homemade pumpkin squares, eggs and I think there are some left over poptarts. O yeah and of course coffee!!

Good Morning everyone, I hope the rain stay aways from you all because we are suppose to get hammered again today.

LOL Foxfire.. do you get the ones where they call for a ride to their AA meeting or such nonsense as that? Or the ones who call with complaints of- erm- things.. stuck in.. places?? :p

I'm procrastinating this morning. And I'm not sure if I spelled that right. I have a 1hr 15min drive to clinicals, and I dreamed all night that I was an hour and fifteen minutes late. Which of course means I woke up numerous times. :doh:

So now I'm just enjoying my grits and OJ before I HAVE to get up. I never have time to post in the AM.. woo hoo!

Morning Everyone!
I've got 3 days of seminars :doh: it's going to be a long rest of the week for me and I'm not sure I'll even get home in time to go ride :( Oh well it could be a lot worse and I did have a really good ride last night :)

Morning everyone! Darn- I'm too late for a pop tart for a snack, lol!

Open faced omelette for anyone who wants one this morning.

Talk about the wild weather- we had thunderstorms complete with hail last night- November 4-5? Crazy for up here!

Poor little Chance kitty was scared of the thunder and lightning last night, so I brought her in the house, and she slept soundly by the window all night. She just went out a little bit ago.

Not much up today- I'm going to try to get caught up on some things around the house, since I was gone in town the last 2 days, and the rest of the time I was on here, he,he!

Time to go out and feed Gypsy. Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning all.
Since the time change, I get up earlier than I did before, I mean, I get up earlier than if we didnt have a time change, not sure what that is all about. I dont like sleeping in anyway, so this is good for me.

Gotta get coffee and feed the horses.

Hey carla, wanna share them grits? Ill just have butter and a dash of salt with mine.
Dang that sounds good, but Im out..shoot

Going to work on my office/fireplace room some more today, vacuum the house.

Good Morning All. What a nite. I just couldn't go to sleep with all the excitement!!! I do wish it had had a different ending, tho. lol

Carla, hope clinicals are fun today!!!!

Going to the Dentist in just a few. Then to the Hospital...My 90 year old Aunt is dying.. She has had a really hard week. She was having light strokes so she went to the hospital. No one was with her yesterday, for just a few minutes...she got out of bed and fell and cracked her head open..very bad!!!! My mother called during the night and told me she is bleeding in the brain...She did live a wonderful, full and happy life. Her husband, my uncle, died just 4 years ago. Sorry, if I brought anyone down. Just wanted to tell you.
Hope to take a short ride today...if not a ride, I will have to work the boy!!! It is beautiful here again today.

good morning everyone. i am home :sick: today. I woke up w. a really bad head ache and to stomach hurt like crazy. I am going to the barn tomorrow so theres a light at the end of the tunnel.

Morning everyone. I'm debating taking my daughter in to the dr. today.. her cold seems to be getting worse and going into her chest. :( So we'll see how she does in the next hour or so.

SOrry to hear about your Aunt, Diane. I'm glad you are going to see her today. Sending prayers for your family.

I have NEVER had grits before... wouldn't even know what they look like. They aren't a big menu option in WI. What do they taste like?

Nothing planned for today...

Loves, grits are a gritty cream of wheat style food. You can eat them with butter and salt, butter and sugar, butter and sugar and milk. They are eaten as a breakfast food, as a cereal or side dish. Consistency is the choice of who is eating them. I like them a little thick, with butter and salt.

Good morning everyone. No grits here. I had my usual Wheaties. We had thunderstorms last night too and it is still raining. Looks like it is getting a little lighter out but the forecast calls for numerous showers and thunderstorms. Temp is 57 and it is supposed to get up to 68. Not very typical for November around here.

I have just a quick minute.

Cane's stitches come out today and Hubby got some last night. Deep cut to his wrist, just missed tendons and all the major blood stuff. Kids are wound. Jonathan wants to buy new fish as another died last night. I am fighting with insurance and wanted to punch the E.R. triage nurse for arguing with me about him getting another tetnis shot.

Glad Cane is healing up. Sorry about your hubby. Wow, that hard to get a tetnis shot..gesh. Go to your county, I got mine for 15bucks.

That's FANTASTIC! We really need to stick with our vehicles and pay them off, then not get new ones. I hate having the payments.

Sorry ya'll were up all night carla and Foxfire - I hope you both get naps in today!

I'm not feeling right, so today I have to go pick up some paperwork for Nana and Papa and drop it off... but I won't go in. I don't know if I'm fighting something off or just downright exhausted - or both. :doh: I slept in this morning, I need to shower and get moving but I think I'm going to relax and stay home and fret over everything I should be doing until after lunch. :rolleyes: This whole week has taken quite the toll on me... I just don't handle stress well. I need more coffee. :coffee: The dogs curled up on the couch with me this morning and were just so cute, I actually sat still and watched a whole TV show! :D

Prayers up for my brother (and/or my mother, you pick), he's a second year freshman this year and by the looks of things (from a call my mother took yesterday evening) he might be a third year freshman next year. :doh:

I hope everyone has an absolutely amazing day! I'm going to find an excuse (if I decide I'm not actually ill) to go have a chat with Leggy today! :cowboy:

Good Morning All!

Didn't get a very good sleep last night. Between my side attach and that darn wind kept me up for hours:(. So with that said, WHERE'S THE COFFEE, LOTS OF IT!!!

My father should be pulling in this morning some time. Otherwise that is all the excitement that I have for today, Oh and it's my Friday!!! (Thank God I still have one)

I agree about having paid off vehicles. All of mine are paid off which saves me an arm and leg with the insurance and we are down to two credit cards which carry no balance WHOOHOO!

morning everyone. Didnt have a very good night last night, so im thinking of driving home for the day and going to see my horse. I have been missing him and I think I need to just go to the barn and relax cold here.. not even up to 50 yet.

Aww man this morning is feeling brutal...one of those "dreading work" days. Wait, that's everyday. Those of you who can stay curled up in your warm homes....I envy you!!!! I'm off to get horse out for an hour or so before work and get his legs moving a little bit, then on to stall cleaning, water buckets, and feeding. I'm not gonna smell too good at work today, lol. Coffee please?? After work I'm going out to chinese food with my dad and BF and then snuggle time :) I have something to look forward to at least. Talk to you all soon!

Jacki - I know the feeling... intimately, go see him - you deserve it. :cowboy: It's hit 68* here, supposed to get to the mid-70s today again, yay! I love warm weather. :)
