I have great news about Cutter. Stick rode her Wednesday and she did excellent. He told me he is very proud of my mare. He asked her to walk and she did without pinning ears and kept her head low. He went in both directions and she did great. He said he was totally surprised about her because she wasn't relaxing at the walk or trot. So after that he pushed her into the trot. She pinned her ears just a little bit and then relaxed and stayed relaxed at the trot as well. She kept her head low and didn't resist and actually when he asked for her to collect she did without any fuss. I am so excited because he said that if she keeps going this way then we should be able to show in June. I hope she does continue getting better everytime now. He said that for the first time she actually wanted to go to work. I am so happy I can't really put into words how this has made me feel.

Thanks guys. He told me last night that when he has been putting them up at night that she runs to the other side of the pasture and then waits until his horses are in their stalls before she will come up and get in her stall. Last night though she came up to him first and went into her stall before his horses came up. He said that this last week her whole attitude has changed. I am getting more and more excited because my dream is getting closer to being a reality for me.

Yep my little girl is becoming an angel. SHe is so smart and to think I was thinking of taking her out of training because of one little mishap.

Thanks guys. I gave my hubby a hug since he gave me Cutter the day she was born. I would of never thought in my wildest dreams that I have such a great horse. Caddo is my favorite but I think him and Cutter are competing now for the best spot in heart. I love them both but I am so thrilled for Cutter. I was talking a couple of weeks ago to hubby that I might sell her so that she would have a better chance at being a show horse but now no matter what happens her and Caddo are with me till they pass on. I have gone back and looked at her photos and it is so sweet to see a foal, then a yearling, and then 2 and 3 year old blossom. But now she is a 4 year old mare and to see where she is now and what she is becoming is so amazing. I have been crying tears of joy because for me to raise foal out of my stud that even though she has some minor flaws her mind is just like her daddys. It has always been a dream of mine to raise foal of my own and to train it first to ride then send to a trainer for showing. My dream has become reality that to me I have been on cloud 9 all week. I can't help but to feel pride for my beautiful girl that people were like oh she won't mount to nothing and she has.
