It has been a rough 2 week here. First I see that Monte has got a gash under his neck. I am pretty sure he scratched it on a T-post. So he is now where there is electric. I am treating him with sulfa and cleaning the wound. 37.00 later
Then my dog Jasper got stung or bitten by something because the left side of his face was swollen. Gave him benydryl and brought him to the vet. It is ouzing now and looks better. 71.00 later.
Then Milo, my cat still is peeing. medince and food not working. So he goes back to the vet tomorrow to get xrays to see if he has any stones.. :( $$$$$$ not sure how much that will cost.
Then there is my 15yr old cat Mr. Kitty who has the runs (glad he is using the litter box) Not sure if it is the food I switched to. If not better then I have to take him in..
What else could go wrong.
I hope things get better or I am going to have to get a 3rd job.

Sorry to hear that you are going through all this. Been there and done that OUCH!!! (except the cat issues)
And as for your last statement of what else could go wrong??? Be careful of that LOADED statement, you Don't want to know!!!
keep positive and I'm sure this black cloud will soon pass.
You could have been in my shoes a few years back when my dog had some cancer issue and bad teeth= 500.00. X-rays on my horse $400.00 + vet bill = $1000++++ and all this happened in two weeks:eek: I'm just thankful I didn't have any more animals to go through:p

It seems when it rains it pours with them, last yr I had 2 sick horses and a sick puppy at the same time, the vet bill was unreal. That was after spending a small fortune on my Noah then in the end having to put him to sleep. Just awful, I miss him more every day.
I hope all of your babies will be OK. Poor Monte, hugs to him, hope he heals fast. Did you switch your kitty to soft food? One of my cats can not eat soft food, what a mess, she's got real long hair too. When there was that Pet Food Scare I switched them to a different food and Bo didn't ajust to it at all, we took her to the vet not even thinking about the food change but that's what it was, as soon as we gave her hard food she straightened out. Hopefully that's all that is wrong with your kitty. I hope that all will be well with your fuzzy family. I don't know why things always happen at once. I call the vet so much they know my voice. It was never like this when I had my old horse and other animals but when they died and I adopted other ones it's one big non stop vet bill. Good Luck.

Farmers, I'm sorry to hear you're having a rough couple of weeks. What is it they say, these things always come in threes? Hopefully, things will start to calm down and your animals are all feeling better very soon.

Sorry FW. I hope that everything gets better. I know what you mean though. It is pouring over here to. dee decides to go past the gate ad turn up the drive. NOw she has broken my other electric fence down. She ran over Caddo so now he is limping a little. No cuts that I can see so he is on stall rest. valerie said to give it a day and see if he is better by morning. I also have a sick cat. I am with you what else could go wrong. I will pray that nothing else happens and our animals are on the mend.

I hope all the animals get better! I'm glad you're taking care of them and not just waiting to see what happens. It drives me crazy when people don't care for their animals!

So sorry to hear about your two weeks worth of ailments. Man I feel for you. Also noticed that you asked... "what else could go wrong?". Oh, please don't ask, don't even wonder. You really dont want to know. Here is to weeks, months, and even years ailment free. Good luck.

Thanks all. Well here is an update.
Milo went to the vet and no stones or crystals. He got all his shots. PH level is down to 6. So we will continue with the meds and food and if I have to retrain him then I will do that. I am hopping it is not behavor.
Monte is still on meds and SWMS pulled off the dried blood and it is has some puss. So I put iodine on it.
Jasper swollen went down but now I have to go the vet to get wormer because I am sure he had tapeworms. YUCK
Mr. Kitty stools are back to normal.
So things are getting a little better.
