She looks and sounds really nice, but only if she is what they say she is.

I'd be worried about this, especially since they said the cheaper she is the sooner that she goes. I know that the economy is suffering, but I got more money for my thoroughbred who was younger than that.
I'm just worried because she doesn't look too fit, and they seem rushed so you wouldn't know what you are getting.
She does have an ADORABLE face though.

Better get her before the slaughter buyers get there. In fact I bet she's gone already.

She's still there, I emailed the lady and supposedly she has two other young horses and doesn't have time for all of them. This mare hasn't done very much lately, the girl works and goes to school full time so she doesn't have the time or money.

Definately a vet check if I end up looking at her, since she was raced and what not
Ohh she is adorable! I say vet check, then snatch that baby up before the kill buyers do!

I emailed the lady and asked if she would be opposed (sp) to a vet check, If I did get this mare I would train her in Dressage and Hunters and then most likely re-sale her in the spring/summer

What all would you have included in the vet check?

I think shes cute!
I just went through the whole vet check thing myself it was pretty extensive
first they watched her in her stall to see if she had any stall vices like cribbing or weaving,
they did flexion, pulled blood for testing in case she was drugged,
they had me running around to check her movement,
I had to ride for a bit to see if there was any problems that could be seen under saddle,
they touched all over her ears and face to check for any problems,
they checked her teeth to see any issues there,
they shined light in her eyes, I dont remember what for. a
nd they said there was no reason from what they saw to have x-rays done.

I like this mare! She reminds me of Fanny a TB mare at the barn I work at. I'd definitely check her out.
