My first car show and win! A lot of fun even though it was raining!

It was at Hooters ! Now I need to get the rear axle rebuilt, figure out the popping noise when I press the brakes, and get a new rim. YAY more work and money then all my horses put together.

That's awesome! I like the fast back design. That's my favorite Mustang body style.

I've always wanted to put my 68 Nova in a show but then I would have to detail it....It's a classic that gets DRIVEN, dusty, dirty and mud flung up the sides in the winter. I'm a classic car lovers nightmare when I pull up next to you at a stop light. lol

I had a guy for a few years that would stop me every time he saw me in town and try to get me to put it in his car shows. But, I just never got around to it. We have dirt roads in my neighborhood, mud and dust. So, I got sick of washing it every 3 days just to keep it from looking like I hadn't touched it in months. Now I just wipe off the windshield and go.

I do love it when I take the time to detail it though, it's one sexy machine when it's clean and purring. Even when it's dirty with mud flung up the sides people stop me to say "hey, nice Nova". I feel bad when there admiring it with mud flung up the sides. I feel like I'm a bad car owner because I don't keep it in show condition or at least so it doesn't look like I just finished off roading with it. But, I love my car I just cant keep it clean all the time where I live and you can't run an old car like that through a drive thru car wash unless you want to get wet yourself. So, it's only hand washing with no high pressure water nozzles and no coin operated car washes, garden hose and hand washing only.

Someday I will own a car that can go through a drive thru car wash and has Air conditioning...that's my dream......

Thanks! I love nova's, my gramps had one! I really want to do a classic and get a 68 mustang and restore it!

It took about 15 hours to clean it, I race it at the track so I was having problems getting the rubber off the side of the car, Then the engine bay was so bad! hahaha

Mine is a garage kept car/ nights and weekends. Its my baby

I don't know what info you want?

They had 30 different class. I only entered the mustang 80 and newer. My friend entered muscle car, and the class I was in.

I took pictures but it was misting so nothing really turned out. but I took this picture of a car, it was COMPLETELY sad, I didn't know what the car was, but it had a video games, you can see my car, along with my clubs cars right next to mine sort of. This was right when we got there, we were heading inside to eat..

ok see there i dont know that car either... kind of too far out there for me too guess at it now days with all the people changing parts making thier hondas look like evos and stuff. but i would venture to say that front bumper clip looks like it belongs on a STI.. maybe and i can see your can in the backgroung next to the yellow one. i would say tho and it is just a guess but this car looks like a honda ?

I have NO clue. It had jap writing on the back, and had his clubs name on the grill. Where the emblems would be atleast. Sounded like a retarded law mower though when he reved it.

I'm going to ask on my car forum and ask the guys what it was. haha

It was a nissan sentra. hahahah
