blowing through OK and Kansas. Its heading NE and its got some straight line winds, hail, ect. The winds have been going on all day here, but picking up as the front of it is moving in. Ill be back and forth, as I dont like to sit in this room with all the windows in it during a storm. Just wondering whos been in the path, or is going to be in the path. If ya dont have it tied down, ya better get it tied down..lol
Secured the tarp earlier on the horse run in, and put the truck in the garage.
Gonna go check the horses really quick before the front fully hits.

Hopefully, it should be too far south to get me- I hope!

I know Becky was under tornado warning this afternoon and then I didn't hear more. Did any tornadoes actually come down anywhere?

Unfortunately, no. I hope everyone is safe if conditions are bad!

I was just looking at the national radar on the Weather Channel website, it sure looks nasty in some areas....
hope everyone stays safe and no one gets any damage. They're even predicting thunderstorms for us up here, and we almost never get storms like that this time of the year in Wisconsin.

We just missed the bottom of it I think. Haven't check on the radar in a few hours. Hope everyone stays safe.

No tornadoes that I heard of, mostly straight line winds(which can be just as bad)and large hail(thank goodness for the run in). I hope she is ok.

It sure is a huge storm when you look at it on the map....it has wind and snow up in the northern areas, and the other stuff farther south.....what a mess..... I know for us we're going to get thunderstorms tonite and tomorrow, then in another couple days we're supposed to get snow......I HATE snow.

I can always count on you guys fora weather report. Nothing is happening where I am now. It's actually pretty warm out, so I can see a thunderstorm or two happening.

I hear the storm will lessen as it reaches springfield,(I am just below there). The weather is stable to the west of Springfield and it will die down. So, Im going to bed, listen to the winds blow, not bad, and sleep knowing all is well.
The storms north of us are more windy and have hail, so stay in, keep safe.

Well I spoke too soon. We are about to get pummeled a bit I believe. It's really thundering out there and it sounds like my trees are trying to take flight!!

Good thing, its a thin and fast line. Once it hits, it'll be over. The winds in front of it are the worst of the storm.
Tucker down and stay safe.

Take it easy Amy. I'll look for an "all clear" update in the morning. I'm off to bed.

Whoo that cold front just hit!! I sit right next to a window here on my computer and it's closed but I felt the temp change in like a second. Lol. Guess I should go put Mack's blankie on him after it's done storming.

I think I was on the tail end of that. There was rain around, but nothing actually fell where I was at. However we did get the winds, and CHILLY at that! It didn't get above 50* today....currently 36*. I've got the tarp on the bale but I think that's all I need to "batten down" lol

We are struggling to get corn harvest done around here. It won't dry out enough so *some* wind was welcomed - but we don't need the ears blown off the stalks! I would rather take just the wind though...

Hope everyone else is ok!
