So I've decided to try and scan all my old photos into the computer to keep them safe for future generations. Tonight I did a few of my first horse Gidget and of Sterling when she was Sonora's age!

This was my first horse Gidget. She was a Christmas present. I had been riding for years before my Dad & StepMom got her for me. This was likely the winter of 1990. That's my StepMom on her horse (who she sold about 2 months later) Gidget was 15 here and I was 10 or so.

Very first parade! Giget's first parade too! It was about 35 degrees and raining. So cold. (Fort Worth Stock Show Parade) that's us on the right. . .

One last one of Gidget. Can we say easy keeper? lol. When we moved to our land my Dad tried to buy Gidget back for me, she was 32 or 33 and the people who owned her wouldn't part with her. They loved her very much. She is gone now but I learned more from her in the 6 years I had her than I did from most of my early lessons. lol

This is Sterling the weekend I got her. She was 6 (I was 14) She ran through a fence post the first night she was there (that's meds on her hip) Her mane was soooooo long! lol

Sterling when we first arrived at college!! She was 9 in this shot and I was barely 18!

Sterling and my best friend Sherri, freshman year of college, back 10 acres of my favorite barn of all time! Sterling was 10 here

Last one of Sterling! This was when we first started training for endurance. My best friend would go hiking with us on trails. She was VERY fit hanging with us! lol
