Figured Id get this going, maybe go back to bed, been up for quite awhile now.

Lighter storms still passing through, but the big one went over.
Not sure what may crop up, but praying it stays calm.

Not sure what is planned for today. I need to finish this room. So many papers to go through, shed, reorganize. Im taking volunteers.

Morning all! Been a rough night to be a horse! We've had everything from aborting mares and torsion colic surgery to pnemonia and eye problems... all in one night! Boy do my feet hurt!

Getting really excited though! Next weekend is Fiddler's first dressage show! We're headed to B'ham to spend the weekend with the woman who got me into horses (aka, best friend, second mother). And we're going to the dressage show at Dreamweaver on Saturday, and a clinic with the judge on Sunday! So excited I just don't know what to do with myself! Fiddler is just doing so amazing he is just so freaking smart, he's really picked up on this whole dressage thing in only a few weeks!

Animal cookies this morning with icing, and chocolate chip cookies. I'm making M&M cookies tonight also. Congrats on the anniversary magayle, we're working on four years.lol. But I still love 'im so hopefully we'll feel as you do in that many years!

Got susey out last night, she was being a real pain, kicking out on the lounge etc. She's going into her I'm a brat almost two year old thing.

Morning to the WORLD! I'm at work, AGAIN, but its for OT baby! :p Thank goodness though its only 12 hours! So as you can see my day is just about planned out...sleep sleep sleep and maybe work. LOL kidding. Boy I love my job some days!

I don't know about you all but I'm ready for the weekend, I have absolutely nothing planned. And that's the best part of it all!!

For breakfast I just don't know... I'm kinda thinking chip beef but I really should be good. Maybe just eggs & toast!! :)

Eggs, toast and sausage for breakfast. I'm heading into town this morning- going to get some last minute groceries and hole up, in case we get ice. It's been raining all night, and so far, it's been staying in the 50's, but that's due to change starting tonight!

Last night I went over to my sister in laws and hung out with her and her hubby. It was a good time.

Today is my mom's birthday and we were going to go out to dinner, but now with my kids sick, I am going to send a nice bunch of flowers instead I think.

That is wonderful, Magayle, that you can still feel that way after all those years. I love my husband dearly and don't think I would have made it this long with anyone else (22 years come March), we have certainly had our trials and tribulations over the years and have really had to work at our marriage and relationship at times. I just wish he could understand how important Ludicris is to me, he is really stressed about our finances and the economy and that Ludicris is putting an unfair burden on us. It hurts that he can't understand............

Good morning! It froze last night and I had to break ice this morning. I guess it must be November after all. It tried to snow yesterday, but only spit out a few flakes before it stopped.

I missed my bed warmer last night, LOL! There are 8 inches of snow at Caveman's hunting camp, so he'll be hunkered down for awhile. He'd better get an elk soon so he and the dog won't starve to death. I'll bet the dog would rather be here than off living in the woods.

It is supposed to be in the upper 70's today. Beautiful fall weather, the leaves are not gone yet. I keep forgetting to bring my camera to get some shots so I can use up the film and get it developed.

Busy weekend for us!
Moving Ludi to his new barn on Saturday morning, then it is off to Sweet Briar College with the girl wonder for the Open House Weekend.

Kabota is progressing well. Getting around great, I have to restrain him from running. Vet says he still needs to be on restricted movement for another 4 weeks. His next appt is Nov. 19 to check the pin in his front leg.

My son called last night as I was pulling into the driveway from work, he had an accident while roller blading and cracked his top front tooth. Thought the nerve was exposed, he was feeling really badly so he went to the ER, they packed the tooth to save it. Never is not exposed. Talked to my dentist this morning and they recommended he be seen by an Endodontist ASAP, so we got a referral and he has a 10 am appt. He has class this afternoon and 2 job interviews for a job he really wants so he can't come home to see our regular dentist until next week. He says he feels fine this morning, I will feel better once he has the consult.

I have heard it said by moms of adult children, and now I know it is true. They will always be your babies. I was ready to get in the car and drive 4 hours to pick him up last night because he sounded so bad, it is not like him to complain so I know he was in pain. And the ER would not give him any pain meds........poor kid.

Morning all. Barn chores took forever as Cane wanted to buck in his stall. Kids are mellow here today, whew. Magayle HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!

Jonathan and I are going to buy some more fish tonight for the tank. That is my big day.

It is rainy here, but warm for a change. Snow next week. Got to love this weird weather.

Good morning everyone. Rain is on the menu here again today. Cloudy, misty and foggy now. I worked late last night looking for deer shiners. We had a group working. There was a ride along from one of the major tv stations in Minneapolis. I managed to duck out of camera time :).

Good morning! So far, I have got nothing accomplished. My plan for today is to sort through summer clothes and pack some away, then box up some to take to Crosslines. Need to throw a bunch of crap away. My house is getting cluttered. It's driving me crazy, but yet here I sit on the computer instead of getting my butt in gear. I need some motivation. Good Morning All. Late start today. Was sleeping off some pain medication. My dentist appointment turned into a "day of Pain" for me. I have to go see an Endodontist now. grrrr. That is what I get for letting my tooth problem go for so long...I hate to go to the dentist...and that makes me put things off...which makes it much worse and painful when I do go...it is a vicious cycle!!! You would think I would learn.

Beautiful Day in Georgia today. Upper 70's. I am on my way out to clean up the little lake house and get it ready for a Surprise 80th Birthday party on Saturday for my Mother-in-Law...

Horses were all spooked this morning when I let them out. Mira took off in a gallop thru the gate and did not stop until she got to the top of the pasture next to the road!!! Sunday's Man keeps saying he is going to spend the nite with the horses one night and see what goes on there....lol

Sorry about your tooth and subsequent appointments. I hate going to the dentist too (I haven't been in... erm... years. But I'm going at the end of December. Really. :innocent:).

Morning! Just got done suffering through history.. its an hour and 20 minute class but it felt like 4 hours! in the computer lab right now.. going to try and get some homework done before lunch, then get the rest done after lunch. Its rainy today.. supposed to rain through the weekend. I went back home for the day yesterday to ride Ben and then tommorow im headed home for the weekend.

in the middle of relationship problems right now so I need a super sized coffee and some chocolate! well I better get to that homework... aka browsing the forum for a while :)

Good morning...yes, it's still morning here and I am still in my jammis...:p But I have gotten several things done for work and getting ready to go to Costco for paper.

Once I'm done with that I am going to go spend some more time with the horses. Got to get ready for the last two shows of the year. I know I won't be getting any awards, but I am sure hoping Cheyenne does. She worked really hard at getting where she is. I am so proud of her!

Ya it's thursday and Volleyball night!! We got a good group that shows up so we really get a good work-out..... I was suppose to be chainsawing......but do to HIGH winds and rain...I'm inside on the puter.....spending money!!!! Gotta use up all that power some how...hehehehehehe
