It wasn't there two days ago and now there are 4 eggs in it! Sorry pictures are not very clear, they are taken through a window. I'm excited I'll see them grow.
Hopefully the strong wind will not blow it off. Man, if I wasn't scared she'd abandon them I'd go ducktape it, lol. The wind is nasty today.
If they stay I'll be making updates after they hatch.
I'm surprised she made it so close to the ground.

Sweet Love the cardinals we have them here but don't know where there nests are. I do however have barn swallow nests in my barn. I hear them all the time we are in there working. I will really like watching them through you. Hope they made it through the winds.

I love birds and every spring a pair of wrens would nest in the birdhouse we put up in the back yoar. The first year it was up a male sat on top and sang out his little heart trying to attract a mate but to no awail. He seemed to be saying hey gals, I got us a great place to live!! I had feeders and water readily available all the time. It took another year before I got birds nesting and then they raised 2 broods. It is so exciting when you first spot the babies. Have lots of fun watching!!!

Thanks!
So far the nest is still there. The gusts are up to 50mph. I'm very surprised the nest didn't blow off. Poor bird.

Yes, it is awesome to watch babies grow. Once I had a nest in my mail box. It was back home. I went to check the mail one day and found a nest in it. So I left a note for a mail person not to use my mailbox, and hanged a temporary box on the fence next to it. I loved watching the babies grow.
I always put out bird food too. We get a lot of woodpeckers here. Through the winter I get to watch them every morning through my kitchen window. And this year I also bought 3 hummingbird feeders. :) Looking forward to hummingbirds too!

Cooooool... We are covered with Cardinals down here but I've NEVER seen one sitting a nest. That's really neat! And really close to the ground too, isn't it? Huh. Strange.

Thanks for the pics!
